  • Wood; it’s the single greatest tool in the art of crafting whiskey. With hundreds of botanicals and countless flavor and texture characteristics inside any given species of wood, it is responsible for most of the flavor and all of the color in any whiskey. A good whiskey has more to do with the wood than it does the spirit. After our whiskey is distilled and aged traditionally, we add a twist; a fired spire of wood that imparts a unique and aromatic finish to every bottle. This patented technique perfects our creation, imbuing a deeper, richer taste and producing a truly inspired whiskey.

    Just picked up a bottle of the Toasted Oak bourbon and loving it! Can't wait to get ahold of the other offerings!

    Peeps..You can make this yourself.Get a 2-3 litre hobby barrel.Swell it.Grab some reputable bourbon(I use Makers Mark).Throw seven "coins "of French oak spires in a 1.75 for two weeks .In the meantime throw a white rum,cognac,whatever liquor profile you want to infuse/blend into your swelled hobby barrel.Bottle that selection in 2-3 weeks.Piur your French oak infused bourbon,rye,whiskey,etc.In about 3-6 weeks you have a "cask finished" product that is on par with these overpriced selections and sometimes surpasses them

    Not bad Bourbon, but a bit heavy on the vanilla and oak notes. Lots of brown sugar as well.
