- 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 in at JAS Land Rovers for an intermittent starting and running problem.
The JLR bulletin is well known but usually involves a fault code which we didn’t have! We were pretty sure that’s where the fault lay however but wanted to prove it - besides...this gives us more data for any future problems that may not be documented by JLR!
Yep I found this Chanel yesterday. I stopped because I am looking at a non runner Land Rover. Being the guys English and likes pico like I do, I stayed. One video in I like it. Good work mate.
Eric O has the train and whistle, Keith has all the passing traffic noise and you have the calming sound of cows LOL
Good video and explanation by the way
😅😅 honestly I didn’t notice them at the time! Camera picks them up really well...who knew...?!
Great video! The pico really does capture so much detail!
Loving the cows as well 👍
1 megasample on a single channel..! It can go way higher in terms of sample rate but fills the memory sooner - particularly when using multiple channels. Love it though...one of my favourite tools 👍
Good indicators for Crankshaft Sensor failure in these cars on a crank/no start is watch the Tach (Rev Counter). It should rise slightly on Cranking.
Handy to know when you are not privy to Diagnostics.
Lovely job on these?! NOT!!!
I change to fuel pump I lower the tank and change now it keep coming with crank shaft sensor please tell it not crankshaft sensor
😂😂"Hello Picco I love you Picco"
I know this is an old video, but seems odd that it would pick up all those triggers and then miss the tdc trigger which sends the higher voltage spike. In my uneducated mind, it seems electrical since the sensor had been reading to well. You may not even remember but was it in fact a sensor issue or wiring issue?
What are they like to change out?
pico is bloody great
Do you know where it is?
I have the range rover 2.7L and 3.0L tdv6 Engine crankshafts. We are factory, also i have in stock.
I'm having a similar issue, did the sensor replacement cure the issue?
In this case yes 👍 proper diagnosis as in the video will prove it or disprove it for your car 👍
