- This was a similar day to the infamous time when Sven kicked a tree, farted on some dogs and ran away. He always gets frisky on days like this, he loves the cooler fall weather. Mini Molly was content to just munch on some tree apples and watch Sven and Mel rip around the paddock.

Many years ago, when I had a horse, we used to play tag in the big corral, chasing each other. He also did those high-spirited kicks - and once got me square on the inner thigh. It hardly hurt at all, to my surprise: but I did develop a really gorgeous, vividly-colored bruise, exactly the size and shape of the bottom of his hoof, right down to the outer rim where the shoe was. I called it my Horseshoe Nebula.
They are so much fun. I love when he runs and kicks up! We try to get behind the fence, on the cabin deck or behind a tree when he gets going. ahahha. They never mean to kick you, just pure joy. And you had the grand trophy, The Horseshoe Nebula!! 🥰
