Damn, free Tommy Shriggly for all to see? That deserves a little clap.
Is it me or did he steal someone’s ransom money? Is that what was implied?! XD
@@swordsmanthegamernine7973 ransom money or drug money
👏
C’mon everybody get a clap
@@swordsmanthegamernine7973 multiple times too like
This is the perfect episode to choose to advertise this series
This is the perfect comment to choose for this video
I dunno. As much as I love this one, the Brennan episode and the 2 Anna Garcia ones are so much better, there's no comparison.
The bar is set too high. All the other episodes are worse in comparison,
I don't know, this is a *dærk* episode. Like as *dærk* as it gets
All the episodes are a blast, but... this one is extremely primed for memeing
God, Zac's delivery of "I invested it and turned it into sixteen *thousand* dollars" is SO GOOD
E
It's not good, it's perfect.
Crying laughing watching this yet again.
who is zach? do you mean tommy
Isn’t that better? Isn’t that better? Don’t you feel better? Don’t you feel a lot better now? Don’t you feel good? Don’t you feel better?
So much 💨 so much better
My boyfriend and i say this constantly to each other

This is my favorite bit of the whole interview
@@BananaWasTaken "So much powder."
I love how a "friendly fire situation" turned into him being bummed out after killing his whole platoon
…one by one in the middle of the night…
"We're not allowed to throw things at PAs anymore."
Vic is brilliant at throwing in those little moments of how awful and self-absorbed her character is.
and saying “we” like it wasn’t just her 😂
@@Joeljaboy Listen, it could have been _anyone_ with more talent in her little finger than the rest of these charlatans combined who would be on NBC by now if _Bianca_ would stop riding her coattails. Anyone.
orrr a dropout member really threw something at a PA in the past 😂
"it's a feeling and I know them so I would know" really got me. That such a great mean-girl line
i’d still hit it
Obsessed with the fact that since “c’mon everybody give me a little clap” doesn’t *quite* fit the rhythm, he says it slightly differently every single time
He even manages to do it wrong the first time
Come on, everybody, give me the clap.
Wait.
Cmon everybody give Tommy a CLAP
THANK YOU
I WAS TRYINF TO GET THE RHYTHM DOWN AND THAT’S WHY I CAN’T
come on everybody come on give me little clap! come on everybody come a-give a little clap! come on! come on!
What did you do with the $100,000?"
"I invested it and turned it into sixteen THOUSAND dollars" 😂😂😂
I genuinely believe that Zac had no idea what number was about to come out of his mouth until he said it. 😂
@@evandavis7 I think he was going to say a bigger number, realised 16-anything would be too big, and pivoted in the perfect way XD
Real Grog Strongjaw energy with this one.
11:52
In my headcanon he invested that money in crypto 🤣
The image of vehicular staring up into the lights while choking on protein powder and trying not to cry/laugh will be the last thing I see before I die

Vehicular manslaughter was about to be manslaughtered 😩
vehicular??????????
@@empanado8304 It's a reference to the episode where Izzy Roland as a former pageant queen character thinks "Vic" is a nickname for "Vehicular"
@@jacobd1984 it’s my favorite single line in all of S1, I almost pissed myself laughing so hard when I first watched it
This is the ideal male body. You may not like it but this is what peak performance looks like.

You cannot reach perfection without Dr. Goodman's cybernetic implants though
That’s Jared Feather
I do like it, though.
Tommy or Vic?
Zac is the absolute best. Perfect bad "inspirational" faux-mental health guru parody:
- Catchphrase that substitutes for advice, bonus points for it being "tough love" BS
- Very bad past behavior with no accountability or actual addressing of the horrors
- Toxic positivity
- Sells self as inspirational without having done anything impressive
- Selling a pseudoscience grift that's probably also an MLM
- Extremely bad vibes re: personal relationships
Honestly though, when he said "It just feels like, if you can own the negativity, you're living in the positive" I was like, it does kind of feel like that.
@@majerlance7560 that's not a bad ethos! It's just the character...does not do that lol.
@@Lavarpsu10 I mean it's also a really vague wise-sounding quote with no real insight, which is of course the point.
@ also true!
3 miles in 16 minutes is really impressive
14:01 this moment. “Don’t you feel better? Don’t you feel better? Don’t you feel a lot better?” Deserves as much attention as little claps and $16,000
“I really plateau at one mile” is also hilarious to me
"you must feel a lot better."
“Who else in your family was in the military”
“My Uncle, My dad, my mom was a pilot”
“In the military?”
“No why?”
God I forgot how funny this episode is
The public isn’t ready Tommy, but if they do enough lil claps they can be.
E
Omg I'm so glad they've released Tommy Shrigley to the public
Just make sure you don’t drink all the Coke
He's on the loose now
Shriggly Christmas Special @vicmichaelis when?
"I invested that 100 thousand dollars and turned it into 16 THOUSAND dollars."
This is by far the best line in the entire VIP show.
Vic questions if Tommy killed his entire platoon in the middle of the night over drinking the last coke.
"If we're looking at what literally happened..."
*rocks foward in chair like a child*
"That's what happened."
11:53 is perhaps my favorite dropout moment of all time
Fully agree
I'll never forget how hard I laughed watching this. I had to keep pausing and replaying because I missed stuff, and then this would crack me up again and I'd have to start over
It's up there with "Yeah, I killed him"
The tiny hands slipping off the lid kills me every time.
This becoming free to see for all my friends who don't have dropout to get their head out of their ass? That's tommy shriggly's doing. An icon of the mental health world.
17:54 not sure if the editing is helping him out here but he's SO quick on the draw with this one! Zac Oyama: comedy sniper.
No that’s just Zac
That really was a golden moment
The way his eyes look dead inside as he delivers all these
I clicked this while I was still at the beginning of the episode and… they’re covered in something.
I scrolled too long for a comedy sniper comment.
the $100,000 back and forth is one of my favorite things on all of dropout, vic's delivery is perfect
16:13 Hays Protein? Hays? Hayes? Hayes Steel? The greatest businessman to come from Miami? That Hayes? Must have expanded his Boys business

The only character I genuinely wanted back for season 2. I'm all for new and bigger, but Tommy deserves his own show.
Denzel just needs a, keeping up with my house mate.

"We're not allowed to throw things at PAs anymore." 😂 Love the ongoing lore about how Vic is the absolute worst boss.
underrated moment is at 10:15 vic's uncertain "tommy?" fucking kills me
"If we're looking at what literally happened... That's what happened" I will use this in my daily life.
Zac is amazing, but I want to also say that Vic is so perfect in her role as well! the combo really makes this show special.
Tommy doing 2 and a half push-ups while screaming was golden
What do you mean I saw him do 10
@MichaelDavidWiller his soul did 100, who can say which is more.

@MicoDossun sometimes you gotta do a lil clap
The pure joy of seeing Vic and Zac make each other break cannot be paralleled.

YAY i’ve rewatched Princess Emily probably 30 times so i’ve been hoping they’d upload this one!!! 🤩 i signed up for Dropout for this series alone 😂🙌🏽
Vic literally had me biting my hand laughing when she said "Yeah I feel much better actually can I have some more." I just couldn't stop laughing she literally let him dump more protein powder in her mouth the commitment to the bit was literally one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Man this was so good great job!
My god I feel like this is my birthday... These were the best 21 minutes of my life.
The full episode of this is on UA-cam?
I think that deserves... a li'l clap.
👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻
Honestly, this could be viewed as a great example of someone who is innately predisposed to becoming a monster, through sheer random chance entirely out of their control, ending up becoming a genuinely good person. It almost feels like there's a conspiracy to guide Tommy to the best possible timeline where he never becomes the absolutely psychopathic monster he was destined to become.
He had a mental break once and committed heinous acts, but somehow he had unchallengable connections who were able to reduce the judgement to only getting kicked out of the military. While avoiding consequences usually reduces your sense of responsibility, he also happened to be raised as a member of a seemingly prestigious military family. It's implied getting kicked out is his greatest regret and returning is something he would trade all the money in the world for.
If he went to prison he would have been dehumanized, stripped of all his rights, and left with nothing but his own demons in a jail cell, reinforcing the mindset that he and his demons are one in the same and encouraging him to view the world as being against him. By being dishonorably discharged, he was able to confront his inner demons while he still felt safe viewing himself as a member of society. This is what gave him the freedom to view his demons as separate from himself and reject them, which is what he now refers to as his "other self". Now he is both aware of his demons and views them as, not just a danger to others, but to himself as well.
Money is the number one trigger for stress, so he keeps finding a hundred thousand dollars when he needs it. It's enough money that he's not rich, but it provides him with a sense of stability/security while still allowing him to blow most of it following his dream. It makes sense that he can't handle the full economic responsibility of life, but still benefits from having a little bit of it to keep him motivated and somewhat grounded in reality.
Even becoming a mental health advocate/life coach is helping him live a normal life. His grandfather being a self-help guru certainly helped guide him down that path by providing him with a replacement family legacy to pursue, but overcoming the demons in his head is quite literally an impossible task. From his point of view, he overcame them on his own, which would absolutely be something to be proud of and view as a way you could help others. He thinks the secret to mental health is avoiding negativity because that's all he had to do while the universe pushed him away from relapsing. Even if he has a naive perception of how the world works and a false sense of control over his life decisions, the false pride he takes in becoming a better person shaped his world view so he values being a good person.
Shriggly is truly an inspiration
That’s a great thesis. You deserve a little 👏
giving you a little clap for this

Don’t you feel better?
You may not like it but this is what a true male in his peak looks like
Somedays you just have to take a good hard look at yourself and say "Come on, everybody. Give me a little clap"
20:05 - its funny how Zac loses the rhythm of the syllabels at the very end and he keeps trying to find it over and over again only to stray further from the original
We gettin' a lil' clap with this one, lads.
Still has my fave Vic breaks moments of any vip
I’ve been watching all these clips for months, this feels like my birthday
Tommy Shrigley shorts were my first exposure to all of Dropout, and I was hooked immediately.
This is by far my favourite video on dropout
Can we just get a full season of Zac please???
This is objectively the best advertisement for dropout.
I've seen some parts of this episode on Instagram several times and watching the entire episode is so much better.
It gets me every single time hahaha.
Do you feel better?
@dielaughing73 I got my head out of my ass.
It has to be said: the way Zac rapid fires off answers to Vic’s questions is so good, and it’s even better without being cut for shorts
Holy moly, Zac killed it during the rapid fire section. That boy is quick!
14:01 I love that crown vic's face during this whole part is just screaming "ARE YOU THERE GOD‽"

This episode has such “little kid excited to talk to their parents about something but then pipes down when it turns into a lecture” energy
13:45 I am in absolute tears dripping down my eyes, this moment, not once but twice. It's like the staff purposefully found clumpy protein powder to sabotage the moment.
Thank you for putting this up in full for free. Literally been looking for the perfect clip from this or the Zeke episode to share with a friend, and now I don't even have to choose.
