If the cop had his lights on, then it would be OK, and fairly safe. Without lights, it's just another vehicle - hard to see the Police markings when the cammer is focused on the road. It was an UNSAFE action by the cop.
Was driving on the road out of Uluru no cars around at all, then all of a sudden got pulled over by a N.T cop in a Toyota Troopy. Don't no where he was hiding, he just appeared.
Okay, this may actually be the first time I've seen my neighbourhood appear _thrice_ in one video. Better in an IK/CBTP compilation than a regular On The Road, I suppose.
6:13 can someone explain to me how this kind of lanes work in Australia? Does a person in the ending lane has to yield to everyone? I thought that zip-merge could be applied here
So you mean if you are in the left lane (the one with the arrows painted on the road), do you have to give way (yield) to the through-traffic? Yes. The driver travelling in the ending lane must indicate and give way to the traffic in the lane being entered. Usually situations like this only exist where traffic almost always flows nicely, like immediately after an intersection (because through-traffic is periodically stopped altogether, creating long openings for merging) where you are generally able to merge cleanly without coming to a stop. If the cars in the right lane are closer together and there is no clear, safe gap for you to merge into, then you pull up at the broken lines and wait for a safe gap. Zipper-merging is not a term most Australians are familiar with. We're not taught it by that name. It's unusual for a zipper merge situation to come up, usually the left lane is ended officially by a broken line, like in the video, but in the very rare case of two lanes just merging together, then we perform an Australianised version of a zipper merge, a polite but haphazard convergence of the two lanes, where rather than a uniform _one from the left, one from the right_ pattern, precedence is given to whichever car is ahead of the other, with the car in the adjacent lane slowing, if necessary, to accommodate the other car.
I'm wondering if they're one of those drivers who gets salty and aggressive when a bike filters.. Or did they just genuinely have no idea where the front left corner of their vehicle was...
On behalf of every driver, if you have to filter to get to the front, pull away as fast as the rest of the traffic. Or better yet, consider a penis extension.
@@AusBimmerFlix Weak as whataboutism is why this site needs a laugh reacc. By penis extension , would that be a ranger, a hilux or the ultimate micropeen toy, a ram?
Nah it’s not always a bus lane that’s Pittwater Rd in Collaroy, Sydney. I think it’s a bus lane till midday sort of thing like there are times when it’s not
That’s my footage. The dude was driving like a dick for a while and sitting right on my ass at one point before he got in front of me. We came to the roundabout and he sped into the left lane trying to speed past everyone who was doing the speed limit and then cut off the cop as his lane ended trying to squeeze back in. He was aggressive and driving dangerously and deserved to be pulled over.
(12:16) I don't think I've ever noticed the centre lines marked like that. Is that the same as two solid marked lines forbidding overtaking? (I'm in South Australia)
Least in WA, that'd be a legal overtake (sighting looks decent too). Dunno what the cop pinged them for, excessive speed I'd say as I've only seen that style line marking on the 100km sections of indian ocean drive.
Long story, you can take the second exit from both lanes, which they did. The sign then says "Form 1 Lane", I'm used to this notifying a zipper merge but the road markings indicate the left lane ends and must merge into the right lane. Note you must allow sufficient space for this and not cause the vehicle in the right lane to brake or take avoiding action. The white van appears to have decided to dive down the left lane, indicate and just move into the right lane regardless. The police vehicle had to brake and will now presumably book them for failing to merge safely.
@@michaelmclachlan1650 I thought that might have been it. Hope the copper booked himself for tailgating and neg driving (speeding up to prevent someone merging when a safe gap is there) too.

A friend of mine was unlucky enough to be following a truck which lost its ladder. She had three choices: a. dodge left and hit the car in the lane next to her; b. go to the right and possibly roll the car since it was a ditch to the right; or c. go straight and pray. She chose c which means her car was damaged but nobody was injured. She was supposed to get her car back yesterday (Saturday) but the front grill, which is a one piece part, arrived in two pieces.

As Phantomthecat says probably 110kph, most modern speedometers read a little fast so likely 114-116kph actual.
5:09 is it just me or that SUV in the turning lane just casually driving around with the tailgate open?
Mate, we are all doing it tough, it costs money for the aircon to be regassed
I love it! It doesn't trigger me like most of the videos you guys have(yes I still watch them anyway). I gotta laugh at how many people do it right in front of coppers 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Right honestly i do u turns at lights but ONLY WHEN ITS SAFE and when i count the number of cars in sight on one hand😂
The other videos have me storming around the house trying not to break something or hurt myself, these ones don't raise my heart rate though which is nice
2:08 the speed limit on that burns bay rd/gladesville bridge stretch should be increased. it was originally built as a motorway.
Most of the time it's full of traffic going no more than 60 kmph!
I love how everyone thinks its the best thing ever when someone gets pinged. But when they get done for doing the same shit, it's all "fucken dog police revenue raisers". Haha.
You read my mind!
I don't think so.
I love it when people get caught, some fucker was going up my arse in the CBD which is 40km zone, cops everywhere. Went around me, cut me off, and sped through a red light - only to be pulled over immediately. Brilliant experience.
Whenever I've been done, esp the dumb ass time I didh't display P Plates when I was a kid, I took it on entirely. Do the wrong thing just own it.
You are so wrong,
It really makes my day when i see law-breaking drongos / territorial bogans /drug /alcohol effected / don't know how they get their licence new comer dumb-ass so called drivers gets done.
Thats why i always make sure not to fall into any1 of those categories, so always obey the road rules.
actually here in aus they aren't bound by meeting revenue raising amounts each month like america. (unlike parking inspectors) so they are getting you for breaking the law and often if you are nice you can get away with a warning.
the law is same for everyone
Out of all of the videos on the channel, these are my favourite type. Maybe that says something about me as a person 🤷🏻♀️ but I enjoy that sweet taste of karma
Same. I love these. Sweet karma.
Me too..its like..when you can't take sweet justice out yourself..these do justice
This should really be renamed to dash cams Australia Schadenfreude edition haha
Thank you for another one of these compilations!

“That’s what happens when you don’t play by the rules ✨ bruh✨”
I cringed so hard hearing that lol
I thought he said “car” not “bruh”. This realisation makes it less funny
there's so many people that love the nanny state this country is turning into.
What was the other drivers offence? Not from that state so wasn't obvious to me.
By the sounds he’s a kid and doesn’t even drive. He should shut his mouth about what he thinks the rules are. Cops are hell bent on finding anything to pull you over for.
my fave is the category vid where the idiot scares/POs everybody, then 30 seconds later you pass by him with his front end wrapped around a pole, on top of a guard rail, etc. good vid!
3:38 police car (without lights) pulls out in front of cammer, fails to give way - if WE did the exact same thing we'd get a ticket. If the cop had his lights on, then it would be OK, and fairly safe. Without lights, it's just another vehicle - hard to see the Police markings when the cammer is focused on the road. It was an UNSAFE action by the cop.
How many of us have said, where are the bloody cops?
Don't say it.. look it up on Google
10 seconds later youll have an ad
I've said that once or twice and been pleasantly surprised.
13:53 that reaction, gold.
Australia, the land where police officers grow on trees! - Or at least, they pop out of bushes when you least expect them!
Was driving on the road out of Uluru no cars around at all, then all of a sudden got pulled over by a N.T cop in a Toyota Troopy. Don't no where he was hiding, he just appeared.
Must have a SEP field (Somebody Else's Problem).
Oh what smug joy by those so perfect in laughing at other people & proudly sharing here.
Lol how many times I “applaude” the one car ahead dudes 😂
Love how everyone laughs ! The Aussie mateship at best !
13:40 *IS THAT A SUPRA!?*
OMG it

0:43 I wonder who the copper went after the truck or the car. I’d probably say car then truck.
I wonder if one cop got out to stay with the car then the other drove off to get the truck?
@@haydencooper_ Yeah I wondered that too.
7:05 Not gonna lie, I love that unmarked Silver Kia Stinger though.
They look like cheap shit and wont age well

5:08 haha.. when you have almost identical multiple choices in your question. 🤔🤔
@@RiffRaffMama. wow, that's what you call thoroughly explained. Thank you! That makes more sense now
This will set you straight ua-cam.com/video/ru27rw7xhnA/v-deo.html
Hits the bike cop ,on behalf of every biker GO GET HIM !
@@AusBimmerFlix Projection, I feel sorry for ya mate.
@@AusBimmerFlix piss off its the drivers fault.

I do love these instant karma vids and the cammers reactions!
1:57 wait is he not allowed to do a U turn there? Why did he get pulle dover?
Unless signed, U-turns at traffic lights are illegal in some states like NSW
Cant do u turns at light in NSW
It’s illegal for all states and territories in Australia to u turn at the lights unless signposted otherwise
@@geekskates Except Victoria
@@geekskates In Victoria, thankfully we are smart. 😀
I get so much enjoyment out of these 'got ya' type of videos!
11:38 Caption: "Too fast, only 60 here". My brain: "mate, that's a bus lane, not a red carpet laid out for you"
I know that road, probably a weekend so it's fine since it's only a bus lane Mon-Fri but still too fast.
Nah it’s not always a bus lane that’s Pittwater Rd in Collaroy, Sydney. I think it’s a bus lane till midday sort of thing like there are times when it’s not
A well put together compilation. Thanks
the lady laughing at 6:10 when the guy didnt really do anything wrong
That’s my footage. The dude was driving like a dick for a while and sitting right on my ass at one point before he got in front of me. We came to the roundabout and he sped into the left lane trying to speed past everyone who was doing the speed limit and then cut off the cop as his lane ended trying to squeeze back in. He was aggressive and driving dangerously and deserved to be pulled over.
Instant Karma laughs are the best. Full of joyful menace.
how's the video quality from the motorcycle?! Dashcams will catch up soon
I’m glad I’m not the only one that noticed that. I’m half tempted to mount a helmet cam on my dash now 😂
Love these compilations 👍👍
13:19 I swear 50% of drivers don't properly stay in their turning lanes in intersections even when they're clearly marked. It's so annoying.
12:15 Huh, I've never seen double dashed lines. Had to look up the road rules.
The van at 6:11, what happened? What was old luv so excited about?
What did the driver at 7:53 do?
5:28 Rear-ending a police car is not ideal.
4:17 Me screaming about the beautiful white old Scania 😍
Haha. I don't know why but this is so wholesome
The police in Australia are sneaky in the use of vehicles, trucks, vans and unmarked cars. Great for them, bad for law breakers.
The answer to dangerous driving is to saturate the road with both marked and unmarked Police vehicles. Apart from anything else this Police presence will promote voluntary compliance with road users making driving safer for us all🧐🇦🇺
In a world where the media has vilified the police its great to see there is still support for all the good work they do
Watching these videos is just so satisfying.
I look at all those "the lucky ones get caught" ads and wonder if an ad about the embarrassment of getting put in one of these compilations would be more effective
Been waiting for this. Best part of dashcam owners australia.
One of the only videos you can hit the like button before you watch it. !
I loved the one with the DashCam driver cheering and laughing at the car being caught running down the left of the lane LOLOL
And seriously someone tell me the camera used by the motorcycle riders, that was so crystal clear.

And that why there's never a traffic cop around when you want one: they're too busy dealing with ppl doing stupid shite right in front of them
12:55 It's funny, working on the road and having to travel on it everyday, there is always a Highway sitting in that driveway around 6:30pm nearly every afternoon, always fun watching people get caught out since they dropped the speed limit from 70 to 60 a few years back.

Not from Ozzy, can someone tell me what the guy passing at 12:15 did wrong? Haven't seen the broken double white lines before?
Can you do a Ladders special? been ages since we've seen any ladders fall off.
@@Harry-zz2oh Fuck Harry thats terrible.
@@d4nr055 You are right. She thought so too. From what I understand, things have not been going real well at work. She's been required to go into the office to work since it is considered "essential". I think she's ready to see what else is she can do.
0:10 was there a traffic light in the middle of the street ?
It seems to appear from nowhere, huh? I've watched that part in slow motion like 10 times and where it was is still a little unclear to me, but it was obviously on whatever kerb he mounted before it came crashing down.
