- I came across this machine looking for a plasma cutter with more operator options. The bestarc BTC500DP offered everything I was looking for: LCD display screen with digital air pressure settings and digital amperage output. The settings and features that allow 2t and 4t trigger operation and PT and PA settings will surely come in handy. Best of all, the bar graph shat shows you the proper air pressure setting made getting your cutting settings perfect.
Operationally, this machine performed well cutting through a multitude of different materials and thicknesses. This plasma cutter is hands down the best machine I have used. This was a bargain at just 249.99 $ and free shipping through Amazon.

Have you tried this on your CNC yet? I’m curious if the high frequency will lead to any EMI/RFI issues.
I did! and yes I had some electrical interference issues but I have just been using the thumb switch. I have a video on it
@@scantronsgarage - thanks! I saw the thumb switch video. I'm building a very similar setup, and I ordered the Bestarc, but I haven't assembled anything yet. I've been wondering if shielding any of the wires would help, as well as pulling the control board off the frame. I guess we'll have to experiment.
@@LoadsofBacon It would help for sure. I had intentions of doing the same however I was too eager to try the machine out and went right to cutting.
