thanks, this was helpful, but I can not get the vector DR to correct anything in the vector library Feather. It is the only option for a feather. it is in the library. i have been unable to machine it complete. too many open vectors. Am I wrong to expect a vector art in the Carveco would be ready to carve?
Hi Erik, I don't have a problem machining the feather and cant see any open vectors. If you would like to save your model as a .art file and send it over to support@carveco.com hey will get to the bottom of it for you.
@@Carveco Just as someone had suggested, I must have clicked twice creating a double . I have since been able to carve the feather once in pine and again in PVC trim. I do wish the vector library was more extensive. There is only 1 feather to choose from. clicking the "Get more vector artwork" did not seem to increase the list of options. I see i downloaded it, extracted the zip. But nothing new shows up. Thank you for putting up with all the dumb questions, (I will likely have more) Has anyone else carved in ACRE Board? it cuts really clean and smooth.
Can i have some help here I created two rectangles and copied and pasted I now have the two rectangles joined as in a "T" I found problems when I used vecter doctor, I am getting 2 small green star sharped rings, basicly where they intersect and its stopping me from calculate. Its got me stumped on how to get rid of them What am i doing wrong here, any help would be appreciated thanks
Hi there. It sounds as though you need to trim that portion where the two sections meet. Have a look at this video which should explain how to do it - learn.carveco.com/2d-design-vectors-and-bitmaps/trimming-vectors/
If you are still having problems, then please contact our support team at support@carveco.com, attach the .art file (the model) and they will be able to help you out.
Unfortunately my PC doesn't work with this correctly. When I press d for delete it does nothing. If I press delete, it deletes the entire model. Also F9 doesn't center, but function plus F9 will
Hi, it sounds as though the the whole model is grouped so it is all deleted. F9 is the same on my pc too, you can disable the fn key, but you'd need to google it for your machine as it is different. Or right click and "Centre in Model" ;)
Awesome Leighton !!

For new people to the software if you're not using the mouse as a visual then we don't know how your deleting sections of a vector or text.
