I bought a onefinity around a year ago and have been using easel so far but now I'm looking for a bit more features. Will be watching and seeing if maker suits me

Thank you for this tutorial and in general your videos are very helpful. I have a request if possible for your videos. After you teach us the design part, could you also do the practical. Show us how your bits cut these paths and how you use everything. It would be nice to see all of it from start to finish.

Hi Great Video thanks, I have been using Genmitsu 4030V2 with Carvco Maker and Candle with out any problems but Lightburns is causing problems in that the Move is working in opposite the the arrows suggest. I set my home rear right and when i try to move LEFT is goes right . can you offer any help thanks

Absolutely brilliant James. Thanks a lot. If you want ideas for future videos, how about why you prefer UGS over Candle. I'm sure you can do a balanced review. Thanks again James.

Great content Mr. Dean. I've made similar "bowls" over the past years. I use a .75 cove nose "bowling" bit inside and a .25" end mill for profile. I do the rest of the work on my manual router table.

James. I love your videos. Your delivery is perfect and your knowledge is extensive.
Your videos of a few years ago show a 4040xe in an enclosure. Could you advise me please the internal height. Thanks.

Great tutorial! I did not see the link for changing the bits and setting up the Z axis. Can you link it please?

I use a proprietary software for my machine. This has such detail that I believe I can still use it to design in mine.
    Great presentation style! Thank you.

hummmm, I can't get beyond the creating a lead in/out. Maker errors out and says "one or more leads were changed or removed to avoid gouging or an error occured during the creation of the leads". I can see i have the inner circle highlighted and the lead in shows on the inner side.

How would you carve a chamfered edge on the bottom of the bowl?
