    The farming industry is the biggest we have in this country and it’s not given the recognition it needs, keep Britain farming 👍👍

    Hi Joe great vid as always your brother reminds me so much of my brother that's the sort of thing he would do but I'm just as bad 🤣, anyway back in the 90s I worked on a dairy farm and we used a 141 Muir Hill to roll the silage clamps same size wheels all round plus a cab gave it some serious height and if the sides were a bit soft damn you knew about it, but it was a lot of fun to use on the clamps though.

    You know it’s a steep pit when pickup hitch scrapes the concrete at bottom of slope.😀

    Morning Joe,
    When the Farm I worked on many years ago made silage we had a sheet on the floor and another over the top. They were sealed together using two plastic pieces all round (bit like a ziplock bag). We then pumped all the air out - think it was a parlour vacuum pump on PTO of a MF135. Really pulled the crop down and there was little waste.
    Do any Farmers still do this?

    • @joeseels
      @joeseels  Рік тому +1

      Not sure I’ve not personally heard of anyone local doing it that way, but does sound a good way if you can get away with not ripping the bottom sheet, or the sheet anywhere! 😀

    If he had the buckrake on the back he would be able to get it in to the corner and push it up alot better in my opinion but each to their own
