We have an AMAZONE spreader and a Bateman sprayer, luckily Bateman parts are cheap as chips however the spreader parts are eye watering, can’t imagine running the AMAZONE sprayer

Had a play of "musical ambulances" on the way home from dialysis, starting with one crew, swapping to another and finishing up with a third so I got a trip over to the Haldane and back, and Donald got home over the Black Hill rather than having to go through Dumbarton.
As others, Teipai 101 in Taiwan has harmonic damping; Weather there's very different or the Burg Calipha would need it too.
I made it 45 - 23 seconds, so 23 seconds to unfold the booms (based in video timer).
Harmonic damping was used in some transmission towers in the sixties after one fell over in a high wind.
A great video Olly , it's good to try the other brands of sprayers.
We had a wet morning, in Cornwall but it's been drying up the rest of the day sun is out now.

The Amazone and the Horche are premium sprayers to my mind, even the Rogator/fendt I think is inferior. But I think price is like you say a major factor.
The building you’re thinking of is Taipei 101, in Taiwan. I’m not an engineer but I think it is an example of harmonic damping, to counteract both typhoons and earthquakes.

Renault F1 team ran a mass damper in the front of their race car back in 2006 I think. Remember reading about it, very simple idea but well engineered. It did a great job for them
Then the FIA made mass dampers illegal so no spraying F1 circuits with this machine Olly!
That sprayer certainly has a lot of technology on it, you would need to have a lot of work for it to justify the cost.
