We moved to Kentucky recently and attended an amazing fireworks show at a local country church on the 4th of July. This played this song during the fireworks. I had never heard it before, but man what a great voice and amazing lyrics. This song is easily on the level of Lee Greenwood's God Bless the USA.

I postponed my life what turned out to be about ten years to serve in the Army after 9/11, listening to this song reminds me that it was the right decision. I have three all American children and it's worth anything to keep the stars, stripes, and eagle flying, for them.

Love this song! The Stars and Stripes mean so much to me, my Dad fought in Korean War, my husband in Viet Nam! I am as patriotic as any American , wish all felt that way! Love my country!
The stars and stripes mean the same thing to me and my family. My dad and mom and grandpa rickley served in the army, my grandpa paige served in the navy, my uncle john served in the marines and later in the army national gaurd. IF THESE ANTIFA AND BLM MOTHERFUCKERS THINK THAT THEY ARE SO OPPRESSED IN THIS COUNTRY PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PACK YOUR SHIT AND LEAVE TO WHATEVER COMMUNIST COUNTRY YOU THINK IS BETTER THAN THE FREEST COUNTRY IN THE HISTORY OF MAN WHERE YOU COULD SAY WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT AND NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT SOMEONE PUTTING A BURLAG SACK OVER YOUR HEAD NEVER TO BE SEEN BY YOUR FAMILY EVER AGAIN OR HAVE THE BARREL OF AN AK47 TO THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD BECAUSE YOU SAID SOME SHIT THAT SOMEONE DIDN'T LIKE. Because here in america you don't have to worry about any of that so long as you abide by the law and don't act like a criminal. Because here in america if you work hard you can be successful in anything you set your mind to.
I still remember when this song came out. After 9/11 it was just exactly what the country needed. Even the non-country radio stations were playing it. God bless Aaron Tippin.

yes...I agree...just like Merle sang in "Fighting Side Of Me"....
I postponed my life what turned out to be about ten years to serve in the Army after 9/11, listening to this song reminds me that it was the right decision. I have three all American children and it's worth anything to keep the stars, stripes, and eagle flying, for them.
America is the place where i call home
WI here.
Wisconsin hell ya! were you from ?
I'm from Florida to
don't worry man, I was born in Georgia but moved here to Florida in 2005
North central Florida
Aaron Tippin,,,Beautiful song our country is the best Damn place in the world ,,,we have freedom Because of our Tough and loved by all our TROOPS,, God Bless them and our USA ,Love my Country And my President
Lyrics
Well if you ask me where I come from
Here's what I tell everyone
I was born by God's dear grace
In an extraordinary place
Where the stars and stripes
And the Eagle fly
It's a big old land
With countless dreams
Happiness ain't out of reach
Hard work pays off the way it should
Yeah I've seen enough
To know that we've got it good
Where the stars and stripes
And the eagle fly
Chorus
There's a lady that stands in a harbour
For what we believe
There's a bell that still echoes
The price that it costs to be free
I pledge allegiance to this flag
And If that's bothers you
Well that's too bad
But If you got pride
And your proud you do
Hey we could use some more
Like me and you
Where the stars and stripes
And the Eagle fly
Repeat chorus
No it ain't the only place on Earth
But it's the only place that I prefer
To love my wife and raise my kids
Hey the same way that my daddy did
Where the stars and stripes
And the eagle fly (X2)
NEVER FORGET! God bless the U.S. and god bless everyone who defends her!
I hear songs like this, and my American Pride just gets fueled. :)

One of the most underrated songs, gives one goose bumps ❤.
I spent 9 years in the army infantry went to Afghanistan twice and didn't fear a thing and this song reminds me how small i really am :)
Navy SAR here ..i know what you mean
Thank You for your service Sir
Thank you for your service fellow Patriot! But together we are strong and mighty! Keep up the fight!!!
Thank u for protecting and keeping us free
Thank you for your service!
God Bless America and thanks to all the people that Make America Great!!!
My future husband is serving our country. I am very proud of him so much. I will be happy when he and the rest of our men and women will be home. 🇺🇸🙏
God Bless America - From England
I still remember when this song came out. After 9/11 it was just exactly what the country needed. Even the non-country radio stations were playing it. God bless Aaron Tippin.
We need this more now than ever I love this country and our flag

This is one of the greatest songs and video ever!! God Bless The United States Of America!! I'm so damn proud to be an American!! Living in the greatest country period!!
Guys, I've always lived in America. Some days I wondered why the hell we thought we were the best. Until I started listening to songs like this and I understood. Today I am proud to say I would lay down my life for my country and I can't wait for the day I graduate high school to volunteer. I've got pride and I'm proud I do.
Jesus, Constitution, guns, and freedom. 'nuff said.
Wtf kinda hicklord are you
God, Guns,and freedom
God guns an freedom repeet if you agree
YES!
@@JamesBond-ql6ec The Bible was the greatest founding influence in this country - Jesus; the constitution was based on those principles which is what gave the freedoms for you to live as you please christain or not; and guns because the founders believed that the value of human life was God-given and therefore the people had an inherent right to protect themselves and their families - and is therefore a directive, NOT something that any government has the right or authority to control.
thank you to all those who fought and died for our country and those who are out there fighting currently God bless you all and God bless those families and we will never forget y'all
"If youve got pride and you're proud you do"
Boy.. that is some serious pride.
@Shadow Oxide Nah man, an honest study of American history and a realization of just how many men gave their lives for this country's freedoms and values is what makes me, for one, proud to call America home. Have a good one.
Shadow Oxide Another ‘enlightened thinker’. Next.
Listening to this on 4/16/2021 and wondering what happened to being proud to be an AMERICAN!!!
Needing some of this more right now then I can remember ever needed this before

Aaron Tippin said he didn't record this song as a response to the attacks on Sept 11 2001 & that he recorded it before we were attacked. Thank You Aaron for recording a great great song this is one of my absolute favorites.

Greatest country to ever exist. Even though some of us are divided politically most of us would still lay down our lives to protect our freedoms from anyone who tries to jeopardize what we all love and have built. God bless our troops and the united states.
Brings me to tears every single time I hear it this needs to go viral everyone needs to hear what we were talking about years ago about our family our freedom are for wired our republic this is what we were talking about protect America
Aaron Tippin Rd is down by the post office here in town. Proud to still be listening in 2023 🇺🇲
I love this song im a proud American
Me To USA Baby
Amen to that.
Aaron Tippin what a great song
I'll say.
What happened to the days when people were proud to be American, I remember growing up there were block parties for the fourth and in school everyone said the pledge every morning and all the people I met always loved America, now a days in those same places it’s a crying shame. The same people who grew up next to me have been fed by the media and it’s sad. I pity them honestly
One other song is my favorite. Love this song! Good song!!!!! God bless America!!!!!!!!!!
God-Bless America! My prayers go out to the United States of America.👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅
