As a complete beginner to UE5 and game development, would you recommend just making games with blueprints or do you think you absolutely need to know C++ in order to make games that are marketable on steam?
@Summoner500 Hi 1. You can absolutely make games with blueprints that are marketable on steam. 2. I would recommend starting off with blueprints because the engine has a lot of moving parts and you want to get comfortable with that and the editor. 3. Once you are comfortable In the editor and have a good understanding of the engine you can explore c++. C++ helps with more complex games and calculations as it is more efficient. That was a brief summary, hope it was helpful. I may make a more in depth video later.
