Are running it on stock electrical? Because I want to get this amp instead of the rp 2000 but I’m worried I’m going to have to buy a second battery and a new alternator and stuff like that.
You're definitely gonna need a second battery for that amp. A stock alternator is ok for a while but you really should get a higher output alt. as well. Those amps do a good amount of amperage draw.
@@Silentjustin06 Stays around 13.2 with what you've tried on it so far!.... Those taramps are different. The smart 3 is even hungrier when it comes to amp draw. Trust me that's a lot of strain over play time on your stock alternator trying to keep not just one but two batteries fed!..... High output alternator is a must.

Ok so I have 3k MD and i beat my 15 inch mofos till they was smoking ( busted now ) what would you say would be perfect for this particular amp and how would you run it.. Asking before I dive right back in..
I'm running 2 hyanka 12s on this amp now. They are around $130 shipped if your looking for something cheap. The amp really push the hyanka to the max. It's actually broke my hatch release. I can't open the hatch anymore 😂. Gonna have to figure out what's wrong with it
The DDX are the better subs but for the price the Hyanka get down for sure. Especially since I didn't realize the the hyanka's was wire to a 4ohm load compared to the DDX being wired to a 2ohm load on the amp. The Hyanka performed very close to the DDX @ a higher ohm with less watts.
I was actually wrong about the hyanka's being wired to 4ohm. For some reason I thought it was but after taking the subwoofer out and looking at the wires. The hyanka's and the ddx 12s are both wired to 2 ohm

Stock alternator with a XS POWER battery under hood and 1 XS POWER battery in the trunk. stays around 13.2v on kill
Yes I have 2 XS POWER batteries. 1 under hood and 1 the trunk. Would have upgraded alternator already but it's difficult to find one for this car

Some ddx 15s or 12s. The ddx handle this amp really well
