Awesome Job! I am 76 years of age, I have been waiting for someone like you, to do projects like this for years, there is three or four projects of your I want to build. Now I can have all the machines, I need in my shop. You are a God Sent. Your work is very much appreciate.
Thank you,
Ray
Gökmen ALTUNTAŞ !!!! WOW!!! AWESOME!! Thank you so much for taking the time to record and upload this video. I KNOW how time-consuming it is and I think I can say for everyone who watched it, THANK YOU !!!!!
I am a carpenter and this machine is very useful for me. Thank you
This is VERY well done. My new favorite DIY CNC video. Nice work!!!
Excellent, thank you.
Love the format, just the right amount of essential information, like lead screws and linear rails. It’s the little things that help, never thought you could put a lead screw through a ball bearing like that.
Will be building mine shortly but I can see a few things I might upgrade: not convinced about the router clamp being held on just with glue and I might 3D print the bearing housings rather than use wood. Trivial little upgrades really.
Thank you again for putting in the effort to make these videos.❤
You need to lubricate your lead screws. The squealing noise it made when you first moved it is from lack of lubrication. You also need to keep the guide rails clean and lubricated as well. Good build, it is amazing to see a CNC router with the structural parts all made from wood.
What would you suggest to use for lubricant?
@@caseyfinn4682 I use a PTFE synthetic grease (SuperLube), however people also use light mineral oil. There is also spray on dry PTFE lubricant that people recommend in dusty environments, but I haven't tried that.
Absolutely astonishing detail and so complex in execution. This is simple perfection. Thank you so much for sharing GA.
Just fantastic. moreover, the most interesting thing is that your tools (drill, saw, ...etc ) are also mounted by you. Great.
My Son and I have been looking for a CNC router to build together...think we have found our design. Thank you for posting and the inspiration!!
What a fantastic video thank you for sharing.
Of all the self build videos i have watched yours is the most comprehensive.
👍👏👍👏👍👏
This is the best project , and the final is greattest- God bless your house.
İlk defa bir videoda, beğenmeyen görmüyorum. Tebrik ediyorum sizi 🙏🙏🙏
Man I have to comment here, to thank you you opened my mind I'm going to make my project based on yours. and I want to thank you for sharing your knowledge without half terms. Congratulations and thank you. Unlike most videos that put this as an extremely difficult and almost impossible thing to do, you showed that it is possible in a very simple way.
IM Building one as well. I have it almost done. I modeled most of the wood parts for 3d printing other that the base. I may make the base metal eventually as well. This is a great starting point though.
@@taylord1337 How much is the total cost?
@@shamshairpardesi Around $200 or so. I spent a bit more becuase I got some wrong parts on accident. I used recycled wood for the frame as well so that helped.
@@taylord1337 May Allah bless you
@@shamshairpardesi oh… ok?
Very good, Gökmen ALTUNTAŞ, as always!!!
Unbelievably great, so much engineering went into this project. 👍🏻
Finally he did this too. This man is insane!!!
GREETINGS, I AM A NEW SUBSCRIBER AND I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND DETAILS OF THE MEASUREMENTS AND MATERIALS USED IN YOUR PROJECT, I WISH YOU A LOT OF SUCCESS, HEALTH AND BLESSINGS.
Toda mi admiración y respeto. Es usted un verdadero genio. Saludos desde México!!!
You are a monster, teacher, thank you for your contributions.
Excellent my friend! Thanks you. Your project is very practical for all us. Congratulations.
You are just AMAZING!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Hugs from Rio de Janeiro ✌🏻
Awesome Job ... but i can‘t believe that it‘s so relativly easy to build a CNC ... but you did it ... 👍🏽
Ne temiz anlatım tek kelime etmeden. Vallahi tebrikler
Stunning you've made me want to make one for myself Thank you
This the best..tool. i am proud for you. . John ...from Greece.
Two excellent and very encouraging videos. I'm in the process of upgrading a small CNC router and really enjoyed watching yours.
Extraordinary build. Ma Sha Allah. I am waiting for next video for software setting. After your next video I will start my own mini cnc. IN SHA ALLAH.
Mate, great job. I'm essentially going to do thing in the next couple of weeks
Thank you, my dear friend, always creative.
You are a teacher of perfection
Gökmen usta ellerine sağlık. Sevgiler saygılar 👏👏👏
An amazing thing is that almost all machinery beside basic tools is self-made.
The video looks great. Some important measurements were left behind the scene. However, people, who is able to make similar stuff, can recover the logic and, in addition, learn a lot of tricks. I have just got all mechanical parts and going to rebuild my first version of CNC which was made of furniture rulers. Thanks a lot for this video!
Have you watched the video till the end? He showed every single measurement information needed for the project.
Ellerine saglik calismalarida basarilar dilerim.Titiz calismani cok begendim ,paylastigin icin tesekkurler.
Good work, only the teacher can come. Thank you👍👌👍
Super sprawnie to Panu poszło aż miło popatrzeć.
Muchas gracias
Very well done, Sir!
Thank you for showing the measurements
Well done, thanks for sharing! This project looks really accessible. If only I had the space for one of these... 🥴
Thanks! Good idea!
Just one word: WOW!
Wow.. Bravo.
Very interesting, excellent job. Thanks for sharing

Ohhh. Perfectoooo 👏🏻👏🏻. Muy buen trabajo, una vez más 🖖🖖
I'm not even sure I understand what I saw??? Is it spectacularly simple or simply spectacular or both? :D
very well done. I enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.
Hello, I am Iranian and the cost of a CNC machine in Iran is very high
Thank you for telling me the accessories and supplies for me to provide
Thanks
Hello from the USA. I hope you get your CNC machine up and running! Even in the US, it isn't easy without the help of videos like this. I have no idea whats it's like to acquire the parts in Iran.
turned out to be a beautiful machine! It would have been cheaper to order a 1000mm linear rail instead of 400mm and 600mm and then saw it through.
They make “compression” router bits for plywood. They have the spiral flutes heading towards a point in the middle of the bit (from both the top and bottom) so that the cutting forces don’t produce tear-out of the top layer.
Amazing DIY with clear instruction. However I look thru all parts from Aliexpress take so long to order (i haven't use Aliexpress at all) It will be great If I can find all part on Amazon. Thank you very much. Keep it up with great DIY
Very nice job, man! 👍😀
Congratulations, great video, thanks a lot
will you make a third video showing how you set up the cnc with the computer and controll board settings.
Same Request pls
Same recuest please
There are videos all over the place that talk about controllers, drivers, firmware, and control/gcode sender software. He's running candle, and probably grbl.
@@OGMann there are yes ...but we wanted yours...
Brilliant build 👌👌
Ellerine sağlık harikasın kolay gelsin
sen ne güzel bir insansın hocam :).
Çok başarılı, elinize emeğinize sağlık 👏
Thank you so much, your sharing spirit is great
Beautiful and simple.. great work.
excellente CNC!!!!
Excellente CNC Bravo,🥇🎓
Very good job👌
It looks like he just upcycled a 3018 prover. Blue backing for the board. Also I believe those are the same stepper motors. Way to make one of those small machines work harder for you.
bu zannedersem son nokta oluyor helal olsun.
Fantastic 👍🏻
you are great!, nice efficient way to build.
Ha quedado muy bien, Felicitaciones 👏👍
Excellent! That must be very satisfying :o)
Thank you mister, This will be my next project. I don't know anything about cnc :-/
Great DIY project. Thanks
Great and I am going to build one based on yours.
Thank you to share your experience
ℂ𝕠𝕠𝕝 𝕁𝕠𝕓,𝕘𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥! ! !👍👍👍👍
Magnifico trabalho 👍🏻
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
amazing simple work 👍
First off i want to say that you built an excellent CNC machine! I am building one based on your design and i was wondering whether you have any problems with the z-axis stiffness (is there any play) because of the use of only a metal rod instead of the guide rails you are using for the x- and y-axis. Keep up the great content!
What a great idea!
Que genio amigo felicitaciones por tu máquina 👍👍👍👍
Nice little mschine, well done. When you will build the big brother? :)
Parabéns pelos vídeos. Muito bons.
If you are not using zero-backlash ball screws; you should probably use two leadscrew nuts per axis. This allows you to adjust them relative to each other to remove backlash.
