Stew Smith is a legend, love the guy
SpecOps guys are not normal. This is one reason why. You see in the full episode the doc saying he doesn't know how this is possible physiologically. To perform BETTER and FASTER. These guys have a mind/body connection that few are capable of.
Just got done watching the whole program. Well done, it's amazing to see the potential of the human body.
this clip didnt show the whole thing
they kept adding bags and bags of ice on the whole episode...
Word this was my favorite one. His temperature shot up above normal before he even got in to prepare him for this
wow even after he went through all that shiit still manages to own the test, impressive and well disciplined
On the last run he makes a sandwich and eats it while firing and still comes in 2 tenths of a second faster
Gives new meaning to the term "Stay Frosty"
I'm pissed now, I don't get national geographic anymore, and I really wanna see this ;) someone better upload it
im glad hes on our side
This is a must watch for me.
this episode has disappeared, can't find it anywhere...
Get that man a blanket! :o
Cool
wow...
Damn that's awesome!
wow
Max Still Smith
All Spec Ops are trained to body hack in every situation even in death.
Nice video :)
That was pretty cool.
=]
it was the same if u count it at the time it started(2:15), and the time the second shot was fired(2:35) it's more or less the same
"Ice water at 55 degrees fahrenheit." Ice water?? Hmmm.
someone can to help with link (full documentary) please.
Where i saw the complete episode?
lol i probably couldent jump that wall if i wasent freezing cold
elite.
cbamode - "i guess thats enough for american special forces ;)"
coming from an unemployed stamp collect in Britain - lovely isn't it?
and discovery
Headshot! :)
@Cobaltwire +100 Xp
And what was the time...?
They don't even tell us anything.
This is nothing have you seeing Vietnam special force's.
Where is the full movie
i dare them to put a ssg to the test!
First, troll.
Second, after an hour in 55F water, we'll see if you are still talking (or even breathing). Cold water isn't like cold air.
needed a fix did you?
oh and the history channel but I don't get that channel.
he's a hard bas alrite but what about the SAS? they the hardest of all. but cant show their faces can they.. could be ur dad. could be in ur attic right now..watchin u. and lets not talk about the SBS ok..ooooo
e
alright, now do it in boiling water
i guess thats enough for american special forces ;)
I would be more impressed if this were done scientifically, instead of as a television stunt. The water was 55 degrees when he went in, but how warm was it an hour later when he got out? He is nearly 100 degrees himself, and the studio lights would have really made the water warm up as well. I doubt he was cold at all in the water after an hour. He would have had a chill getting out into air, as anyone does no matter how warm the water or air. Seems like propaganda.
You've got a point there. But in BUDS, he'd have had to flipper in colder conditions, sit in freezing mud all day, etc. This would be tough, but probably nowhere near his breaking point :) it's interesting how much humans can endure
Clearly you’ve never seen the original video. Throughout the time he was sitting there, they kept adding more bags of ice. They cut that part out in this video & I don’t understand why.
@@tehsnipatres208 I still find it sus. The human body is a heater, pumping out as much heat as a 100 watt incandecsent light bulb. If the water is still, it can easily form a warm layer, insulating near the skin. Do it in flowing water, and I would be impressed. This is just a lot of BS, in my opinion.
@@thetruth45678 ehh…to each his own I guess. I get where you’re coming from. As someone who lives in Michigan, they should’ve done this on Lake Superior. That lake is a lot colder. You can only swim in that lake for 30 minutes before hypothermia starts to kick in.
My lord...that's why people dont fuck with us.
lmao dude your suppose to belive him to make him feel proud of him self. If every one on You Tube can do it even my 1 year old daughter can do that with her arms tied behind her back. forget shoting how about Knife trowing.
Now who's the ignorant one, hahahaha, lol!
To call this science is a farce-- what happened to "learning channels"? Good thing I got rid of my idiot box and don't have to be subjected to this crap any more.
lol, is that all you care about?
Cool
