- A clip from Fight Science, the episode Fight Like an Animal. The clip shows Daniel Ilabaca demonstrating how the monkey can influence movement in parkour and freerunning.
He should be in assassin screed movie if ever made one ^.^
Cristian Ramirez Guess what came out...
Cristian Ramirez Lol. The movie is real now. XD
The movie sucked tbh
Daniel you're fantastic bro...
Danial Ilabaca is so good
You can fly?!
"No! JUMP GOOD!"
Lol
Samurai Jack.
I'm not saying this is easy but I seen nothing about fighting nor the real techniques of the monkey martial arts. I seen free running and parkour.
^ Yeah I was hoping to see some more action. But this might just be a Short clip.
True all i saw was parkour.

Danny is just not a martial artist. And also, why couldnt Parkour be part of it?
That was said in the video. They were testing how the body can work monkey style. Not the actual style via a kata maybe.
He uses techniques of the style for his free running.
So they tested that. Sometimes it's about listening and comprehension lol
Why it says in the video that daniel its co founder, world freeruning & parkour federation since David Belle is?Daniel started parkour long time after David spread it around the world.
Some Unusual Questions: Which Martial Art Makes a Good Mix With Parkour (le parkour)? Who knows how to do parkour know how to fight? It's because?
Parkour is a great exercise because it makes you think very fast, gives you speed, develops you to do various activities, including fights. You can ally Parkour with a martial art that demands speed and flexibility like Kung Fu, Taekwondo or Capoeira. IT WILL BE SO MANY !!!! For example:
Monkey Kung Fu + Parkour. Well ... as the Monkey style is an acrobatic Kung Fu, and Parkour is also acrobatic, the practice of one will greatly improve the performance of the other.
Note: Parkour only, does not fight, but manages to escape all his predators ... Hugs
They amount of energy you would burn in attempting to fight a more straight forward fight style like muay thai, wrestling judo or BJJ would soon sort them out. In the absence of weapons you will have to get within kicking range.
I legit thought monkey martial arts would be the easiest for humans to learn. I'm not saying it's easy, saying easiest because of how similar we are, but now that I've seen this, it may actually be the hardest, because it seems like strength distribution is reversed, Humans are strongest with our legs, Monkeys are strongest with their arms
this is only a demonstration of the acrobatic part of the style
What you think, Orlando?
imagine he do backflip and then he broke his neck and die there xDDDDD
sry my humor is fucked
no your humor is gold
Basically parkour/calisthenics
Summarizing is parkour
Monkey style kung fu can be put in a fight but you all will have to watch kung fu movies from the 60s 70s, and 80s.
I'm Daniel Ilabaca, and I'm Ryan's hero.
wouldnt it make more sense to put him in actual fight or at least sparring match?
damn right its not easy!! free running is the best!! :D
Where is fighting ?
tell me where you are and i'll tell you where the fight is
China
Nvm I guess it does teach the importance in mobility so my bad

Where is the fighting? It's monkey style kung fu not monkey style circus
Let me see you
Stripped.
Monke
Absolutely NO WAY will any of this help you win a fight. It would help you get away possibly, but its like saying being a gymnast makes you a good fighter.looks awesome in the movies though! Being good at fighting comes from sparring and fighting and being pressure tested.
