"I was doing my customary 3 in the the morning ritual of sitting alone, drinking playing video games" come on Jimmy you're 30 now no one's going to believe that, 3 in the afternoon more likely
I'm 30 now myself... no one told me that when you hit 30, suddenly you're just tired all the time.... The only time I see 3am now is if I wake up to go use the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Shed boi plz never change the intro. The “ROCK OOWWWHHH” gets me smiling lol Edit: cheers for the likes guys maybe if Jimmy sees he could combo the 2 for a laugh 😂
Jimmy becomes so rich, he will be able to afford the construction of a house, in which he can recreate the shed as a separate room, or a detached living space on a 1:1 scale (Come to think of it, "Detached living space" sounds like a fancy word for "shed")
My buddy might still have a clip from one of his iRacing events that was the most incredible wreck I ever saw. He was racing Indycar at Las Vegas and had the back end break loose on him in turn two. He backed into the wall, the car climbed the wall, got into the catch fence, came off the fence on his nose in a series of pirouettes, the car transitioned from the pirouettes into barrel rolls, finally stopped tumbling and slid down the backstretch on his cockpit, finally coming to rest against the inside wall. By the time everything was said and done, all the crew chief had to say was, “You’ve got wheel damage.” We both went ‘No shit!’
@@hoch2824 I really hope both were actual in game audio and not edited, but I think the 'good pass' was good even if it was edited. :) Edit; 8:12 for full clip.
You look so much healthier now when you look at the older clips. Extremely proud of you for what happened in 2021, and what's to come soon. But even more so than that, I'm proud of you for getting healthier physically and mentally.
I remember on my 2nd oval race I ever did, I started 2nd and managed to slip into first without making any sort of contact. A lap or two later, I just see the whole field vanish behind me, and both me and my spotter were freaking out because I was the only car that survived an entire field wipe. EZ win.
There's beautiful irony in that Nascar Racing 2003 clip Ford Lover. Driving a Ford, spins. Gets hit by two cars. The Wood Brothers 21 who is the longest standing Ford team and the Jasper Racing 77 who shut down not long after ending up on Ford's Shitlist
3:55 this clip is insane. A real “Jesus take the wheel” moment, because the way that car recovered was supernatural. The fact this happened in ACC is really what makes it extra impressive, because it’s not like you can say the game’s physics are unrealistic, but at the same time, I just don’t see how he possibly recovered that.
@Jimmy Broadbent You should do a Sim Racing Court show. You could dress as a judge, and rule on sim racing incidents. That would be super entertaining.
Ayeee I made it, btw, that league race was with realistic performance cars (Faster drivers in slower cars and vice versa) with reverse championship order and I was second in the championship so I had to fight from the back of the grid in an alpine.
Hey, I was in the race that first clip (the one at 2:12) happened, ended up getting 3rd in class ( I was in a Jetta so I was against that scooby do car) because of that wreck
I had a wonderful replay of an Eau Rouge crash from Geoff Crammond's Grand Prix 2 that I kept around for around 15 years, but sadly it got lost somewhere in the last few computer changes and several disk failures of the last decade... ;_;
Can relate to the first win. Got my first ACC league race in a 2hr multi class at zolder. Carried damage for the last 45 minutes slowly having my lead eaten away. Had to defend like an absolute lion in the final hairpin on the last lap and managed to pull it off.
5:40 reminds me of my first plague race victory, 100% race and p3 in qualifying at canada, realistic car performance and I had amazing race start led almost every lap, when I crossed the line I treated up bc whole season had 0 luck
8:33 ugh, just had that happen to me today. It was at Daytona in DPIs and someone crashed on the oval. They were at the top and didn't seem to be rolling down, so I went around on the bottom, and they just rolled into me lol
Did-- did Jimmy's editor just use Fear Factory's "Zero Signal" @6:55? And I thought I couldn't love this channel more, that's one of my all-time favourite songs!
Man I wish I knew about this. I know it’s oval racing. But I won 2 Talladega races back to back. 1 being the class B restarting near the back of the field, winning by less that 0.001. And then right after I won the NIS race with a 3 wide move with 2ish laps left.

i relate 🙁

I miss the old one he smiles tho ;-;
I miss 'yesh'. :/
Rock's great though.

i jus wanna know what the song is called, it goes hard
Same here!
1:23 I love how the "future" Jimmy is the shed dweller one.
Back on the rocks

8:48 you never know if the oval suddenly surprises you with a right turn
0:26 this image made me feel both terrified and confused and caught me completely off guard
already best video i've watched so far this year, 10/10
Massive thanks for appreciating the community Jim.
2021 was so big for us, can't wait for what's to come next!

The saturation change after the snap was real satisfying
"No shame in a driving line, always good to learn where you're going"
On an oval???!!!
I mean sometimes ya gotta slow down on an oval. Gotta know when to do so.
Pocono isn't a normal oval
Could be a next generation 'Captain slow' :)
2:30 those ACC clips could be mistaken for real footage the filters are so good.
8:18 was my clip 😅
It was my first time starting a race in first, and in VR, and dude just comes out of nowhere. 😂
love the feel good vibes jimbo
At 6:31 you can really see how much jimmer has changed.

I could watch this stuff for hours and hours on end. Love it.
Bro this gets me through some stressful days. Just nice to watch your vids and “get away” for a bit. Thanks jimmer.
Jimmy's energy is unmatched in this vid, was smiling from beginning to end
3:55 is literally the most unbelievable recovery I’ve ever seen in any racing game, let alone a true sim like ACC.
Fun Fact: When Jimmy said "I hate all of you" he actually means that he hates all of you, except me.
9:11 the 'oh fuck' always gets me
Hey Jimmy
Just wanted to say thank you for entertaining us

My top sim racing moment was when some guy started singing "Danger Zone" during a charity race.
Can’t wait till part 2, I’ve got a jeddah botas-esque last second overtake you need to see

The Intro to this is still hilarious second time around, the 360 no scope 👌😂
"the somalian flick" that is a new one I have not heard before LMAO
