This PowerEdge has been put out of its misery as I originally thought it would be used for its SAS cable, but then realized it had two CPUs, but after noticing how innefficient it was and some of the capacitors going bad, and how little I paid for it, I chose to take the parts I needed from it and throw away the chassis, it was too far gone :( 🫡 PowerEdge sc1430
It’s a poweredge sc1430 and that’s just a fan with a bad bearing. I got this server because the entire unit was cheaper than the SAS cable I wanted and I might buy RAM to see if it works but this server is nearing the end of its life lol I’ll post a new video soon
def keep us updated. It might not be valuable in the datacenter...but dang are those ageless old things valuable in other ways. @@juniorelectrician2005

What model is that? And that drive has a SCSI sound to it. Unless that's a failed spinning rust? I can't tell.
