Thank you! Glad you like it! Michael certainly seem to know his stuff. But tax is complicated so remember always to get individual advise from tax professionals
Hi, If my company is in Bulgaria and I have NHR in Portugal. what taxes do I need to pay in Portugal? I know there is a 0 tax but do I need to pay social tax? and what other taxes do I need to pay?
NHR isn't that simple. First it's important to know that NHR is not equal 0% tax. If the work is performed while you are in Portugal, there can be many scenarios of why the work should be taxed with 20% NHR + 11% socials for you personal and 22% socials for your company. I don't know Bulgaria, so I can't share knowledge about this. But consults a tax specialist and explain the substance of your income, check DTT, Portugal's black list etc and you can see how things work out in your scenario. Hi Hygge would you have an email I can contact to ask a few questions, my situation is a bit different to your informal video. Struggling to find a decent accountant that doesn’t want to rip me off 😆
Because you are Danish, you could move to Morocco, or Costa Rica, or Ecuador and earn money globally and keep it all, I'm pretty sure. With zero paperwork. As an American.. I'm jealous!
Trust me… Denmark is also jealous over how US can keep taxing it’s residents after they leave ;) Get another citizenship and give up the American and join the low tax group of people ;)
I’ve been following Michael about a year and a half now. He has some super content and for me it’s especially helpful as he is a fellow Canadian.
Exactly! He got a great way to teach people and his channel is great! I’m certainly a fan of his work. Hence why we convinced him to talk to us :)
Hi Jen me, he seems to knows his stuff :)
