Sustainability Series: Waste: What is Hong Kong Doing?

Professor Christine Loh, Chief Development Strategist at the Institute for the Environment, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), and Asia Society Hong Kong Center Scholar-in-Residence, initiated the first chapter of her two-part series on Waste Management on May 28. She spoke to a distinguished panel of speakers who presented interesting facts and engaged in an in-depth discussion about what Hong Kong is currently doing to manage its waste, the waste management systems, and the successes and challenges.
The discussion couldn't have come at a better time as so much has been said about this topic recently. The discussion piqued the audience's curiosity and interest, and their questions provided much food for thought.
