it's optimum climb speed is way higher than I thought, thanks for the info , also I was right about iit losing insane power above 6k alt : ) it was nice to reverse F2Gs in a Ta 152

Yeah, above 5/6 k the acceleration becomes non existent(for a 28 cylinder is pretty low)
It should be even faster considering it’s engine is missing 500hp! It is the same engine that’s on the AM1 mauler which has the correct engine settings.
@@sovietsheep5051 If it got water injection that would only boost power down low. Would do nothing to its performance above 5km.

been grinding France for jets this week... absolutely farming F2G kills in my Bearcat, it's mostly people who have no idea how to fly playing it.
Yeah I think battle pass vehicles are used by inexperienced players a lot, similar to high tier premiums.
Im not eperienced too but i playing f2g for pleasure. Its just the game.

The F2G is the plane i am hating more RN, not because it’s op or something (on the contrary, it’s quite easy to kill), but because every 5.7 match i join is now 6.7-5.7, and i hate facing P51Hs and Mk24 spits constantly.

I saw an f2g turnfighting an re 2005... He was being dived on as he was groundpounding, I tried to warn him in chat, get him to run, but he continued groundpounding until the re2005 was right up his ass, proceeded to turn with the re 2005, and got blown out of the air shortly after. Of course, he was groundpounding (when we even had more tickets and the match wasn't about to be decided by them, mind you), can't expect him to care about winning or surviving.

I played the corsair as a bridging to the p51 but as i had the p51 i missed the corsair, because its easier to handle and more powerful👍
Depends which P51s and Corsairs though.
One of the reasons I hated my La-9's stock grind was the fact that due to the F2G spam at the time, I always kept getting outclimbed and ganked by those things (As for the actual stock grind though, it was more or less ok). I did have a few try going headon with 4 NS-23s though.
Yeah it's not the time to grind out most other super props imo.

@@kingghidorah8106 I always avoid headons with the La-9, funnily enough - the fact that even a single 50 cal can turn it into a brick (as well as the fact that 50 cals cal fly further than 23mms) is why.
@@jdreyes3745 and that you need at least 40 N37 shells to at least destroy a plane. The La9 isn't 6.0 at all.

So ever since I saw this guy recommend the F4U-4B I’ve been playing it and carrying US teams almost every round. It’s ridiculous lol those cannons absolutely shred.

You mean how to dodge after making a pass while BnZing? Try breaking off in the opposite direction of the enemies turn once you know you won't be getting a shot on them. That'll increase the distance and the shot difficulty once he finally gets his guns on you.

I recently started playing WT again (took a 1month break before the event lol) and i think this plane has been nerfed a lot. With my k4 I outspeed, outturn and outclimb this plane with ease, the only thing they can do is to try to make me overshoot... i mean even the F4u4b itself has better chances than this thing against the k4, since at least it outturns the crap out of the 109s
F2G is way faster than K4 at sea level and faster below like 3-4km, but with the rest you are correct.
@@AdamTheEnginerd if it is faster it has an acceleration so much worse that prevents him from outrunning the k4 (plus you can just let the F2G dive, follow him 3km above, and then dive). My point anyway is that this plane should be 5.7 or even 5.3 with the performance it has. IDK how some people in the forum can say that the poor performance of the plane is related to the stupidity of the average F2G pilots, given that i often see F2G players with good stats killed by braindead 109 pilots that later in the game try to turn fight spitfires. The F2G simply hasn’t the performance to stay comfortably at even 5.7, just like the F8Fs (another plane that idk what the hell is doing at 6.3), the LFMk9, the Yak9UT and the tempest mk5.
I’ve actually started playing almost only missile thunder jets, because 5.3-6.3 is totally unbalanced right now.
In the matches i’ve played tough I noticed airfield AA is bugged right now, 70% of the time they don’t fire at me and 30% of time they snipe my pilot from 5kms lol

Okay Air RB plane, little bit better Ground RB plane, since it can drop its two bombs separately. Bearcat still better for ground though because cannons.
Still like the thing though. Because if there's one thing it does well that the P-51H and F8F don't, it's print money.
Also thank god they fixed the flap rip speeds on the thing. Combat flaps ripping at 440km/h was an absolute travesty compared to the -4B.

@@AdamTheEnginerd Yeah, when it was still 6.7, its FM was... pretty trash. Classic Corsair trash rudder, and even worse flaps than it should logically have that would rip at speeds it shouldn't.
The plane isn't that much different now that it's 6.3, but they fixed the most egregious parts of the FM that shouldn't have been there in the first place. Now it's biggest problem is probably the brakes that are strong enough to flip the plane while landing, which then instantly kills the pilot...

I have a bunch of F4U4B videos, but not on MEC settings and the like. Its MEC settings are straightforward though.
Its really fun to just play ME262 at the moment. downtiers against the f2g all the time, and then you just speed around them ^^

@@wyvern7567 yes, it is a myth. The aircraft was designed before kamikaze attacks were a thing, same with the F8F.
There doesn't need to be a special design to counter kamikazes, but I'd imagine a good climbing plane would have been desired for that mission I suppose.
Can you do a vid comparing someone climb using engine controls vs someone not using it
It'll depend on the aircraft and if it's the beginning of the game or later. I did a quick test and estimated the effect in my MEC video.

Will these tips work for the tech tree 6.0 corsair with the m3 cannons? Because I am on ps5 and unfortunately it will not allow me to buy the super corsair but even if I could I like the m3s too much

Idk what kind of games u play, but honestly, it is hillarious how op is the F2G, is a easy plane to use, it has a better performance than the Tá 152 C3 at 9000mts, and I say this bc of my experience and my friends experience with it, we all collide about how op is.
Uh F2G would only have the turn advantage over the 152C at 9km. P51H is better at the same BR than the F2G.
This plane is so much fun.

Hmm I'd recommend doing F4U4B or P51H, F8Fs are too high in BR for what they are compared to those 2.

despite my battlepass level is at 30 and i need to get to level 50 to get that F2G
but it's still interesting video still the F2G will lose to most of early jets in terms of top speed so the altitude advantage might not help it either

Best to fight the F2G above 3.7km when in other props, except maybe the Tempest.
An average plane, it's hard to have good games in it mostly because of the teammates and also because it has to face jets and "super" props like the Ta-152H
I agree. Teams are good because of the fighter spam, and it faces a lot of Ju288 which aren't the best for their team.
I checked market hoping this thing would be affordable because the flood, and ineed it was! $7.50 for a dream plane of mine. I tried grinding for that a while ago. Burnt me out real quick I think. I am interested in playing some, and now even moreso, though hopefully they drop it down a bit in BR or something.

Eh I prefer flying the F4U4B by a wide margin. Even if they were the same BR, I'd choose the F4U4B. It's not a bad plane, it's alright.

Pretty close, I'd say P51H > K4 > F2G in a dogfight.
Every german team I've been fights several F2Gs at low alt and gets obliterated, then when keeping my ta 152 at 5k f4us f8fs and f2gs refuse to climb. I havent won a game in about two weeks at this br

Hello adam . Can you check out the "german airbreak" I was so used to doing it effectively but now it seems like it damages the engine. Maybe a bug , idk .

@@wockhardt5656 With jets, a good minimum fighting speed is about 80% of your top speed, as opposed to about 50% with props. Also don't be afraid to just hit max speed wherever possible. When I figured that out my survival rates went up dramatically.
Do you know if that overlay can get you banned? I haven't seen anyone else using it and on the forum there have been mixed opinions on whether its permissible or not
Anything is possible, but they can't really know you're even using it in the first place. It's on the same level as Discord overlay, and simply takes information that Gaijin offers and puts it into a new format to overlay it. A lot of people on my Discord use it.

Good so I can counter them in my ki-84 and BI by climbing up to 5k+
Yeah it goes both ways indeed.
It seems like almost in every plane, 100% pp means the best acceleration (so best climb speed) and 85% means the best thrust (so max speed) interesting
Hmm on P47s 85% or so is best at low speed as well, so it still depends. 100% is a good starting point though indeed.

Certainly, but the prop behaves differently at low and high speeds and at different prop pitches.
i once shot down 7 planes on it, man i love this plane so much and its a lion farming monster, i see lots of people who have no idea how to use it, well its just a basic norm of prop flight, you have to understand how the engine works and the aircraft aerodinamics in order to succeed and dont try to underestimate the machine and try to do what is not capable of

There's that, it's either you're fighting ground pounders at sea level, or fighting them at like 5km where they don't perform very well.
Wouldn't be surprised if both the F2G amd M-1 had a decrease of repair from the green pilots spamming them.

This thing is without a doubt the fastes low altitude superprop of the entire game... I mean, over 650+ kph at sea level is amazing 👌🏻

I face what feels like whole teams comprised of just these things while spading my french AD4 and F4u7. They keep going head on with me at sea level and die to my quad 20mm. I have the coupon for the F2G but was considering selling it. Is it better than the p51h?
It’s an excellent grind plane due to it being premium, for both silver lions and rp. Another great part is that the optimal research stretches from rank 1 to rank 5 - great for researching low tier and the painful tier 5 jets. Once you know how to use it it’s a beast. I have a 3-1 kd ratio already and I struggled a bit at the start
Nah P51H is better as long as it has WEP. But F2G might get water injection in the future or even go down in BR, so who knows.
I already have the p47M and AU-1 for grinding tier 5 so I think I will sell it when I can.
And how about Gajin would pay You to do this for all aircraft since they can't be bothered to that themselves?

You'll need to know what the coefficients mean and how to use them to do any meaningful work out of them. Also test flight is required for precise power and prop efficiency.
