Another great video! Most informative and very well done. I like the confirmation that the Van Compass 4.3 suspension is something you still feel was a good addition to the van. Especially since I saw your first video on this system and am about to order it for my own Sprinter 4x4. I have the same wheels and tires you have, but my tires are the 265 instead of 275, but they are the KO2s. I hope you don't mind me asking one important question, well important for me anyway. Are your KO2 tires kinda noisy? Not over the top, but do they wine as you're going down the road? I ask because my Sprinter has been noisy since I got it new and I think it may be because of the original snow tires I had, then because of the KO2s but I'm not sure. Sometimes I wonder if it's the 4x4 drive train that's making the noise. So since our Sprinter setups are so similar, any input you have would be GREATLY appreciated. But in any case, thanks so much for your great videos and best regards, Mike from Miami.
Please disregard my previous question. I found an earlier video where you went into detail about the specifications and choices you made with respect to your sprinter van build thanks much and keep up the great content!
A gaggle of off-road lights is the newest version of a d**k measuring contest. They look cool but aren't practical unless your a Baja racer. As you alluded to the smaller Baja Design cornering or drive/combo lights on or near the front bumper are much more useful than a wall of lights on your roof that illuminate all the road dust or humidity. Second, a roof rack really moves your center of gravity upwards, which is a bad thing. If you can do without, don't buy a roof rack.
Great video. We are preparing to build out our 2024 144 Sprinter. I'm overwhelmed, but your tips make it easier. Are the adjustable shocks easy to adjust even after being caked with mud, snow and ice?
Awesome! Did you get the AWD version? If you’re adjusting them after a long day in the dirt/mud/snow, you’ll inevitably get dirty making adjustments. You have to do a little “dip and reach” around the wheel to make the adjustment.
Great video! Quick question… which bike rack are you using? Looking to get the tire carrier but concerned about handle bars hitting the spare tire. I currently have Kuat NV2
I have used the 1up rack and now the AfterParty by RockyMounts. I’d say that the RockyMounts rack is better- the teeth don’t stick, the spacing with the 8” extension is perfect. I really like it.
I love your videos, and most recently watched the review of the upgrades for your sprinter van. I went back and looked at your previous videos about your selection process, and perhaps I missed it, but do you have a video that provides a complete build specs and cost outline of the final van and it’s accessories? I’m in the market and unsure of the starting point with respect to all of the different options out there so being in love with yours as much as I am, I would love to get information about it so I may use it as a starting point. Thanks if you have it.
I feel the same way about running boards taking away from the height of the van, which is why I would install the Amp power steps. ua-cam.com/video/MXvQ4-YPuZA/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared

Yes, we got the AWD. I'm pretty stoked. We don't get delivery till April-June 2024; Then a couple of months to do the camper conversion.
Have you done the 1” grip tape trick to the ladder yet? That’s one of the first things I’ll do next month when I take delivery.

Cool van! Where did you get the roof rack and side steps?
Do you have AC or can you get away with fans? I'm not going anywhere when it's 90+ degrees outside?
Just the stock A/C. It definitely gets warm in the van when it’s really hot. Otherwise, it’s not bad.
What was, roughly, your total cost to buy the van and outfit it?
Do you wish you had a 170 or 170ext after experiencing your 144 for 2 years?
He talked about this in a video a few months back.
Are you selling your moab bed?
