Ok, so here goes;
These things are pretty incredible for a single driver!! I'm listening on an LG v60 with DAC set to normal (flat eq) and short ...also using simultaneously the PowerAmp EQ app, set to what I call Super Flat which is EQ all the way up, across the board, with 5.0 on gain... Lauren Z by Stanton Moore is SICK!! SO resolving!! Detail is excellent and balanced.. I have Bass up on separate Bass/Treble knob turned up 5%, for a slight Bass punch and it's CRAZY GOOD!! 👍👍 I don't know what the Moondrop Aria sounds like, but this fits that description and then some! I wanna see that head to head battle!! GREAT review on this set; very thorough and informative. You nailed it...thank you! Please do more on the most popular IEM's...cheers!!🙏 Next purchase is a Tripown 2.5 / 2 pin to battle with my 7hz Timeless on my Qudelix 5k!!! We'll see what balanced cables can do!!

Loving mine. Listened for 3 hours on my HiBy R6 gen 3 before I knew what time it was. Makes my other iems sound dull. It has JUST the right amount of bass for me for most things. Details are addicting and it just keeps up with everything. These may replace my Hexa….
Banger review! These are def on my list! Would like to see the new 7hz Legato too. I'm basically between the Simgot ea500, the Dunu Kima and the 7hz Legato (much hype around them) . Can't wait for more reviews!
my cousin got dunu kima and bett used the black eartip tht look like cilinder for good bass other eartips dont give the bass and the detail and everything else is perfect but i still like my bl03

@mike_nba i own a pair of Legato and here's a couple of things you might want to consider first, if you're looking into getting it:
it's not Harman - based tuning, nor is it "Harman-ish" in any way(it certainly is a breath of fresh air in a market saturated with Harman-tuning iems). And the inspiration behind its tuning is the classic hi-fi stereo box speakers of the 80s and 90s, which also means it's got a lot of bass that seems to envelope you("atmospheric" is how some describe its bass). But if you want to eq the bass down a bit, the Legato responds quite well to eq. These are bass canons that have good detail. It does not sound like just one big blob of bass in your ears. You can go with the stock tips it comes with, or you might also want to try it with Radius Deepmount Clear tips or Acoustune AET06 double-flange tips(i seem to be enjoying it more with these)- just be careful with the insertion depth, go too deep and you will be feeling a bit of ear fatigue. I have yet to try it with Dunu's S & S tips(but i will, soon).
As long as you don't expect it to sound like a typical Harman tuned iem, and consider what sound experience it is trying to recreate, you will most probably be enjoying it quite a bit. You also might want to watch Ian Fann's interview with the two guys behind the Legato's tuning style.
If you're someone who grew up in that era of box speakers, boom boxes, and ghetto blasters, the Legato will certainly take you back to that time.

How are these compared to Tin Hifi T2 or KZ PR2 for gaming? Esp detail retrieval, imaging and soundstage?
good review but there was a slight mistake : it is the other hole ( nearest to the nozzle ) that will let you do a front vent mod to boost the bass. ( which is a mod i recommend on ea500 as it adds some body and meat to to sound ). as you mentionned ea500 is very resolving and vivid so i noticed it synergized better with a smooth source like my apple dongle or es100 but not with my dynamic and punchy source : dawn 4.4 , ea500 gets harsh and fatiguing by pushing too much details in your face ( easy to notice on snare drum that is unbearable when ea500 is powered by dawn 4.4)
Nice Review! Could you Review the Koss KSC75/KSC75x? A fellow UA-camr named crinacle says he would pick them over any gaming headphones up to 150$.. Id love your opinion on them!

Got about 20 hrs in the EA500 balanced and unbalanced and different daps. Every IEM collector should add this IEM. Near pefect tuning for a Single DD sub $75. Reminds me of my urbanfunview without the shimmer but has much better fit.
If you’ve tried the Olina SE, how does this compare for you?

The Kimura if you want/need a mic. Otherwise the Simgot EA500 or the new Truthear Zero Red.
I purchased the simgot ea500 with the kimura microphone for warzone on ps5. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint
The detail retrieval you get with them is bonkers. Just give them more than one night of gaming and I think you'll like it. Perhaps try headphone bass boost preset.
Do i really need an amp for the iem to make it sound better? I was looking at the Fosi audio k5 pro gaming dac but not sure if i really need it or not

If you can’t EQ, use red. If you can apply a small bass boost at 100-125hz for footsteps, use the black.

@@GadgetryTech Which software should I use to EQ this iem? For Mac or Android? I've ordered these iems and I'm very excited. I usually use android apps like Wavelet and sometimes use an equalizer in my Qudelix 5K.

These are not bass forward IEMs. They are hyperfocused on detail retrieval. If you crave bass, I would look at the 7HZ Legato or the Truthear Zero Red and use the included impedance adaptor.
@@GadgetryTechI'll have to look into that. I heard that the seven hertz timeless was good, but you've mentioned the seven hertz legato. How are they different? I also heard that the basn mt pro had good bass as well as the variations also xenns marigold
@@GadgetryTech Detail retrieval I wonder what that means because when I listen to Genesis "NO Reply At ALL" a big part of it is the talented Bass PLayer who went on to start up Mike and the Mechanis if it was detaiied it would have picked up the draw power of that song if you have a chance listen to it with various heaphones or IEMS
IEM had no sound stage. Be careful what you say. Don't compare IEMs with headphones. In the world of IEMs, sound stages are very different from one IEM to the other. You present yourself as ignorant/biased.
