    Very capable, great value full sus bike. I swapped out (27 VRX) the dreadful rear SX Eagle mech for an XT but believe the bike is now speccd as full Shimano so that gets over that problem.
    Only other change made was a lighter SX DUB crankset but that was just down to wanting to reduce the weight.
    Watch out if you need a replacement rear hanger (#30). They are non existent.

      I had the same problem with my 2017 Ragley Piglet; snapped a hanger and nothing in stock. Hopefully on the next model they switch to the SRAM UDH. Thanks for the comment and glad you love your bike!

    That's what I was looking for, very good review 😊 I found barely used one on eBay for £650 and this price makes it a real bargain 😊

    I have had this bike for over a year now. I have upgraded the handlebars, shock, grips, brakes and brake rotors. It has transformed it into a beast on the trails. Fox factory rear shock is a game changer. This one is a winner for the initial investment for sure. Big difference is mine is the 29er. Fast bike when you know how to use it!!

    Thank you for detailed review. I consider buying VR version because it is significant cheaper and I assume it will be still more than enough for the very first MTB.
    However I have second thoughts which size to choose. My hight is about 5'9,5 but I have relative long hands and I can not decide which size will be better - M or L. Could you share your thoughts about size of the bike - and how tall are you and what size you bought?

      @BikeHombre  2 роки тому

      I am about 5'10" and I rode the Medium which fit me really well. The bike isn't very long, so the Medium might be a little tight since you have long arms. Since (like you) I am always between sizes, I always size down to a Medium and put on riser bars so that the bike is playful and it fits me extremely well. So my recommendation would be to go with the Medium. Good luck and thank you for the comment!

    • @BikeHombre
      @BikeHombre  2 роки тому

      @@KnjazGromowladny The bike used in this review was a Medium. He's about 167cm, so it's a little big for him, but he likes to size up on his bikes. I think that it depends on if you like your bike a little bigger or smaller. I'm 177cm, so I'm inbetween a M/L and I really like the Medium size. For me personally, if I was your height I would choose the S. It'll make the bike a little more flickable and if you want the front end a tad bit higher you can always get riser bars (38mm or higher). Hope this helps; but you have any more questions please feel free to ask as many as possible and I'll try my best to answer.
