Speed Bag_Punch Drumming 7-Beat Riff

- This is a Teaching Demonstration of a "Rhythmic Fill" for Punch Drumming that I call a "Seven Beat Riff". It is based on the drum rudiment of a 7-stroke roll and I demonstrate several ways to create it and use it. Video shows using this with a Metronome and Music by Nick Neblo that was purchased for use online.

That’s pure gold! Thank you so much Alan! I often use the “Phantom-Combination” in my punch-drummings, but never tried to get that accents down in a different way. Pretty hard that 7-Punch-Combo. Thanks for your advice and excellent breakdowns!

Alan Im from Memphis and used to box with firefighters team under Kuron Huddleston back in early 80s. I dont box anymore but I never stopped speedbagging in all these years. Im such a fan and love your videos. I mastered most of the regular routines years ago but I am learning lots from you I never even knew.
