A note on a rule from the creators: A detail, about the skills. Page 56. "Some races allow the learning of an extra professional skill at the moment of the character's creation." You can choose the one you want, as long as it has the symbol of your class.
Thanks for these videos about DUN. Received my copy previous week and it is immense :). I know Oscar did a couple videos about setup and gameplay but yours are easier to follow (probably because of the language-barrier). I am looking forward to more of them, like quest-setup and a playthrough.
This game seems ridiculous in all the right ways. With the prospect of them adding a random quest option in the future, I'm definitely hoping they do a reprint. Thanks for making me aware of this game!
Exactly the feeling I had when I discovered this game. Hopefully one day i can get a hold of a copy and actually commit the time needed to delve into it fully as well haha
Lol man we are playing a quite similar build in our campaign. We play Infernal paladin (i choosed the inner fire aswell) and the same wizard (light spells). We use elf and veteran mercenaries. I recomend you to learn asap the healing spell with the wizard it will make things easier. Have fun!
Thanks for these vids. Mine has shipped, but I'm wondering how long it might take. Had a shipment out of Canada recently that got delayed a month due to pandemic
I won't be doing a play through. Far too many rules to remember on camera, and I will make way too many mistakes. Also, the game is quite slow, and I don't mean that in a negative sense. I really like the game, and will play a few more times before I review it.
@@TheDungeonDive Perhaps a single scenario run-thru, not a full campaign..after you have familiarize with the system and rules, that is...suggestion to sprinkle some other things in between...perhaps some deep-dive on the campaign system...or perhaps a deep-dive in the DM toolkit..etc

I would put a simple "/" between the values with and without armor, because putting on or taking off the armor ( an action) is something that in the game can be necessary to do, when jumping a moat for example... so you have the values controlled.
Shame it won't be up for sale. Missed the Kickstarter so apparently no chance of getting it. I do wonder why companies do this as word of mouth (or now UA-cam) does a great job to increase sales.

WAIT! New KS is coming September 24. DO NOT PAY $470! :) The new KS will feature the base game with some fixes (many that I suggested in terms of translation), and new expansion content.
Yes very expensive which is why I wanted to trade for the first run stuff so I could see if I liked it before putting lots of money in. Even with just the new stuff though it’s still pricy.
Yeah. Not quite sure why the game is so damn expensive. IMO, it looks really, really cheap. That's probably what kept me away the most. I hear the system is interesting, though.
Ok so your Paladin Dwarf should has zero not +1 for opening locks. He got skilled hands +1 but also paladin class gave him -1 to this attribute/ Also for agility you should do slash as in armor so you know what your skills are when you unequip armor for example. / EDIT ok i see you substract that :D

Those skill cards icons look brutal at a glance... almost as cramped as MMORPGs buff icons !

Too expensive for me. I also don’t like metal minis at all. Game looks cool though. I’d be all over it at half the price with standees.

Hey off topic but did you ever get or play arena? Just traded for it and looks so fun.
