Hello Lisa. When I began learning the piano around 17 or 18 years ago I used to have these piano books called Classics To Moderns and the Bach Minuet in G was in the book 2. However as wonderful a piece as it is, I just couldn't play it correctly. I was seeing a piano teacher at the time (I've had several of those before I settled with Karen 4 years ago) but still couldn't master the piece. I kept on asking what I was doing wrong with it and they said I'm not doing anything wrong but I must have been doing something wrong all along! The Minuet will probably be one of those pieces I'd like to be able to play but couldn't so I moved on to a piece that I could play. Perhaps after all these years I could try and find a copy of CTM2 or download it, and have another go with the piece now I've learned such a lot more. I’ll bet with all the lessons you’ve learned since then, you could do Minuet in G now! Service went well, but I wasn’t happy with myself. I missed a cue and I’m still letting that bother me.
