Sometimes basic meals just hit the spot! There are times I just want something easy, tasty with easy clean up so I can get other things done or just watch a movie, read or just enjoy the peacefulness of watching a sunset. My slow cooker went out and boy do I miss it. I have got to breakdown and get another one…they truly are a lot of help in the kitchen.
What a wonderful dinner. Enjoyed this video Robin. Always looking forward to Monday,Wednesday and Friday for your videos. So inspiring. Blessings Robin❤
What a cozy place - a basement!!! Don’t see those out here in CA. Also love that you salt and peppered the oil before placing the chops in - Joe easy was that!! Thank you Robin!!
It’s always gloomy in northern Indiana. Sunshine is almost nonexistent. They say it’s caused from Lake Michigan. It causes a lot of Seasonal Affective Disorder. More people around here than not have it. Right now the sun is out, but it’s 18 degrees.😂 Thanks for sharing!🥰
I loved this video. If I were you, I would not leave that family room all Winter! How cozy!!!! I know that you have shared that your family lives all over, but I am curious if you used to have Sunday dinners together? I have such fond memories of family Sunday dinners when I was a kid.
Because of the distance we had more like whole weekends of food and fun especially when the grandkids were little. I loved those times. The grands are grown with lives of their own now but they have the memories of being with their cousins, games, ice cream sundaes, making pizzas and sleepovers.
Worth reading...Charlotte MacLeod, and her aliases, She did several series of mysteries, and had a wonderful vocabulary and lots of eccentric characters! Haven’t tried any Rumpole yet, tho often see references..but Intend to reread so many of my boks it’s difficult to fit in new authors; we have a huge personal library. 🥰 Susan
Thanks for the suggestion Susan. Having a personal library is a great asset. I find myself always returning to my books. I love reading a physical book. It’s like being with a dear friend.
Always delightful to see you. Your supper looks delicious. ❤️🇨🇦
Thank you 😋

Thank you Nancy! I agree. I hope you can replace your slow cooker soon.
Maybe with it being so cold outside and you showing us how cozy you were reading your book, we could all share our favorite books or movies.
Thank you Heidi!
@@heiditoon3170 was hoping she would begin including what she was reading in Friday Confab!

I was surprised you baked small onions and garlic without peeling first.
Thank you so much!
❤❤
It looks delicious. I always cook up more meat and freeze it too. Why cook twice!
How long did you bake the pork chops with the onions and garlic. The meat and baked veggies look just scrumptious!
About 30 to 40 minutes at 350 deg. Kept an eye on them for sure.
We heat by wood. Took me awhile to get used to it.
