oof okay so this song had me digging deep into the end of s5/s6 and the chuck of it all (much deeper than I typically like to dig into that lmao) so it's a bit angstier than my usual dair edits, but it's ultimately pretty optimistic and it also kind of turned into a dan knowing blair better than anyone edit somewhere along the way????? anyways I never thought this would see the light of day but I love how it turned out so I hope you enjoy ♡

First two show got it but GG screwed up so badly when they pushed her back to Chuck and so Dan had to go back to Serena. And how she treated him last episodes of the show.. only relationship in GG that wasn't completely toxic. Agh

Much appreciated. This was deep, as you already stated. I saw a lot of symbolism along with literal followings to the lyrics. The ending was my favorite part because it spins it so well. I definitely got the message about how he knows her best, I love this.

My heart will always hurt. Not simply b/c they're my favorite couple, but I see my life reflected in their story. Like Dan, I found my Blair - that person I was ready and willing to love unconditionally; someone I had a real connection with. Yet, all of that is in the past now.
And despite some time having past, I'm still having trouble killing that feeling of love; that same love Dan had for Blair.

Gossip Girl totally screwed up the ending. Most everybody knows it including the more honest Chair fans that admit they're an abusive & unhealthy couple as well as the fact that Chuck Bass is no catch which is established in episode freaking one when he tries to assault two girls.
One of them being her best friend and the other being 14!

and that 14 who looked like 41 tried was an attempt murderer in season 3. Stop acting like those two bitches were victims. They were as bad as Chuck or even worse and I dont give a damn if they were dead.
