Mr. Scary is very fizzy! I like it a lot! I mentioned your name in Pete Thorn's chat the other day and told him you demoed it. He didn't respond, but I didn't pay for a super chat either. Sounds great! That guitar is freaking awesome too! 🤘
Faaaark! Great sound Jeff!! Sound is what most people used to call it ? I think since Eddie switched the tone knob on his franky , with the volume knob, it changed everyone to say tone more , hahaha! You think about it brother! I love your content mate! Thank you! Oh yeah yr also a bad ass player🤙
Thank You! I appreciate that! Lots of hours on producing these videos, but to get the actual sound was just like Eddie said “put a 57 on it” That’s true as long as you hit the right spot lol I got lucky and found it first try!
The Deep Switch is fat sounding. Might be cool live, kinda like a set Resonance Control. Would just depend on if you want to have your normal bass up or not.
Thanks! It’s really cool that you can basically set it where you like, sort of a second gain. But when you roll to volume, it goes from mild to wild very easy!
Adds a nice tube stage to an 800! Love the mid-gain settings, even with the boost. Gets a little messy with gain on full. But, does that change when the amp gain is turned down?
No it’s pretty messy wide open, but of course you can just back off on the amp preamp a bit. I think I was at 6 or so. Or you can do it at the module. I like the module, the ability it has to clean up is really another benefit.
Does this really sound any different than putting a BOSS SD-1in front of the amp. Bause that's what it sounds like and every video i've ever listened to. Haven't had the chance to actually use one and A/B with the overdrive.
Sounds killer as always , I love a jcm 800 , I like your jubilee vs smallbox video too , I’m on the fence ,, if you could only have 1 amp , out of the 3 , smallbox , jubilee or jcm 800 which would it be ? I can only afford 1
good video, them jcm 800 have good mids, just hard to get singing sustain out of them for leads. I was hoping u could sustain some notes so I could see if that mr. scary helped any there.
Yeah it adds gain and sustain, but a front boost works ideally for massive sustain. My Silver Jubilee is the same. If I add and OCD in front, it’s probably the best Sustain of any amp I have.
JCM 800’s basic sound is near perfect to me. But yes you got 2 issues, no loop and no High Gain Sustain. The Module I would personally use on 5 or so live and then add a boost to not only give it infinite sustain, but a volume bump too.
Sure if you want just natural gain from the pre-amp. But if you want more Sustain, I would hit the front with a boost. You get more gain, but not like you do by hitting the front end.
I will say I prefer a pretty cutting sound. If you don’t you’ll never hear it onstage. That’s why not only did EVH have all the tones on 10, he had an eq boosting the mids too. By itself it’s going to sound pretty bright. But once you add in cymbals it’s going to need to be boosted.
Fantastic tone.
Thanks! 1 sm57
Mr Scary would be proud. You should be a tone advisor to George Lynch.🔉🔉🔉🎼🎼👏🤘👍
He taught me everything I know. Him and Edward! Thanks for checking it out and the nice comment!
@@FinalResonanceTV well it shows. You would be perfect for a Dokken cover band ,if that would be your thing.
You haven’t see the Dokken Video on here? Look for Retro Rock Revival “The Hunter” Cover 😊
@@FinalResonanceTV Will do thanks. And of course you're Rokken with Dokken
@@FinalResonanceTV oh yeah Cool Billy Sheehan bass ,nice female eye candy. Cool solo.

Lol ❤Pete I think knows who I am, we have chatted back and forth in DMs
Pete is a huge celebrity he gets hit up a lot , his management and assistants may filter it out
Sounds great. Legendary Tones make great products!
Mr Scary in my 2204 I run that through my Fryette power Station can't complain.
Sounds fantastic! Love it
I thought the first setting was best. Nice and tight

Sounds great! Think I preferred it with the deep switch off. Deep switch might be good for some live situation.

Wonderful device! David will have a new batch ready in 3 weeks and I can't wait to beef up my JCM2000. Cheers!
Now I’d be interested in that! Those are my favs
Enjoy!
Sounds great !!

Wholesome af dude!!🤘😀🤘🎸

Thanks Ken!

No pedals? Sounds great. Miss my JCM800
None.. this 50 W Kills!
@@FinalResonanceTV Fk yea!!!

Was kinda thinking the same thing actually 🤔
Good morning Mrs!, Awesome tone!!, where I can find this Mod?.
Thanks a lot.

Super hard choice!! For me Smallbox, more you can do with it.

great tone!! do you think it will work with a marshall slash sl5?
Not sure, check his website
Greenbacks ?
Yes!
is this just for marshall amps?
No there is a list on the legendary tones site
I thought it sounded the best on the 2 real Marshalls, maybe it doesnt work as well on the 4 hole amps.
Yeah but I could have probably eq that darker and got a similar result. My 73 repro is master Vol modded one.
he used a plexi.... didnt play the verses with the volume pot on 10... back off..
Just bought a 2203 think it's worth checking this mod out?
Sure if you want just natural gain from the pre-amp. But if you want more Sustain, I would hit the front with a boost. You get more gain, but not like you do by hitting the front end.
Perhaps turn up the bass, turn down the treble? Sounds high end and brittle. Just my ears though.
On studio monitors or your phone? It’s pretty bass heavy at times with the deep switch in and the gain way up on both of my sets of studio monitors.
To me it's just on point, tight and full with nice high end not too sizzle.
Lynch had more upper end actually from plexis
