Yes, I remember Elswick St in Leichhardt (5 years ago now Chris), every single morning, and used the same test. Particularly before the Teusday hills smash fest.

WA already back racing and road races at that (kermesse 8km laps, than point to point) PDCC Saturday afternoon in sunshine, WCMCC Sunday in foul conditions. ATTA had a TT the weekend before.

Chris, I’m 2 for 2 snapping KMC chains sprinting. Both had done less than 200miles, what chains do you guys use as that looked like a fair amount of power being put down.
These bikes are all on Super Record chains.
So correct about knowing within seconds if you are going to have a good day or a bad day. I have a climb out of the house, which I do not necessarily have to ride up, but, I do just to know what kind of day I will have.

My issue with slamming on the brakes is that it sets off my Garmin accident mode and being in Canberra wearing winter gloves can be a pain to try and disable the accident mode.
That kit will not do it down in Melb. 2 degrees here this morning. Totally froze.

For your information, Rapha were not keen in selling any Nero kit. They basically said it’s a no go.

Why the custom all black kit for winter? You'd be taking unnecessary risk doing solo rides.
Best training tool ever? Two kids in the Thule Chariot to day care and back each day.... :-)
HAHA!! The biggest problem I had with the chariot was it put the girls to sleep every time 😂😂. We’d get to their park or school and both of them were knocked out 😴😴
