- I am a big fan of German pastry specifically the pudding pretzel. And today we are looking for the best one!...in Trier.
This video was long brewing in my little brain. And well since we hit 10k (already 11k) subscribers, I wanted to celebrate by eating some good old pudding pretzels :D Visiting 6 different locations in hopes to find what we're looking for.

But that doesn't mean that stuff isn't good. It absolutely is, which is why the prices are even weirder.

I love pudding pretzels and by far the best one I ever ate is from the Bakery Erhard Heil in Saarbrücken. It's also overall the best bakery I've ever been in and the price is awesome too. Just 1,70€ for a kiss from heaven. I always stop by there when I go to Uni.

The best pudding brezel I had was in Köln in Heinemann Bäckerei (just outside Köln actually)

Good stuff! I actually did the same in my hometown and had to concede that the bigges chain (Kamps) makes the best Puddingbrezel, mainly because it has the most custard. Usually I prefer local bakeries. I also did a comparison of Nussecken (another German classic) and vanilla ice cream.
