Very cool info! Thank you Mishaco. I'm freezing my ass off today at the range, but I have scheduled post at our Facebook page to go live at 9am CT...;-)
I don't do faceberg but I watch your AKOU vids religiously and am now wanting the red fox. Eventually a Lynx or two.. and for the questionare.. *Dragunov in 6.5 Creedmore*
WBP is the best AK manufacturer right now. We have other AK makers in Poland, but WBP give best quality for this price. Also we know you, Mishaco and Rob Ski too. Greetings from cold Poland :)
Two years later, but I have a WBP Fox that I ordered late last year. It is immaculate. I would say it is best AK made in the world, not just Poland. I need to order a second one!
Whoa!! 26:10 starts gets exciting!! RPK’s, milled, and Dragunovs!!!I can’t believe someone would complain about a side scope rail coming on an AK. It’s the only way I’ve found I like mounting optics.
Dear Misha and Jay thank you so much for the time and dedication made for this video. I look forward to wbp new products and your guys new videos. I have one suggestion for Improvement on the wbp fox rifles paint the bolt carrier black to match the rest of the rifle. Also if they can make a clone of a 1960s polish akm with the blued finish that would be awesome.
You’re truly doing a great thing for a lot of us enthusiasts Misha. I picked up a WBP Lynx based on your review and it’s been an absolute blast and perfectly reliable. Many thanks for the time and effort you put into these!
I really love finding these gems in your archives. My next akm will most definitely be a WBP! You have to support and respect a company that is so willing to satisfy their customers.
Saint Mishaco! I’d have to say that we could thank Blaine at Atlantic for a lot of awesome imports. So it is like B&T and HK, as Radom and WBP, a collaboration of legendary firearms.
This is one great video. I'm looking to buy an AK for Christmas and just found out about WBP yesterday. This was very informative. That kind of openness and transparency from the company's side is much appreciated. Since I can't quite afford an Arsenal, and don't really want to put around 800 bucks into a generic Chinese AK-like thing from a manufacturer nobody can tell you anything about, the WBP are now definitely on the top spot on my to-watch list. Rob's tests also paint a very promising picture. Value for money seems to be high.
Just awesome! Looking forward to both a milled 7.62×39 offering AND ANYTHING in a 762 NATO/ 308WIN offering with an 18-20" barrel, personally. Great news, thanks for sharing!!
Mini Beryl pistol in 5.56 or Lynx pistol in 5.56. Could be expandable to Mini Beryl SBR types/clones. Most parts are already in production from WBP so it wouldn't take much more to make this happen. I emailed Andrew and see what he says as well. Great guy to deal with. Keep up the good fight guys!
Im late to the party but I just got my WBP Jack the other day and love it! But was still really curious about WBP. In turn I found your page, and found tons of info about WBP. I appreciate the video, and will be watching many more!
Watching this again as AF released WBP milled pistols yesterday. They delivered! Hopefully they will be sending us the rifle versions eventually. I am extremely happy with my two Fox rifles.
Thank both of y'all so much for taking the time to do this and get this information to us!! I own a WBP fox and a Lee Armory Romanian BFPU! Love them both!
Good content Misha, awesome to hear from WBP seem like a good people. From what I can tell it seems like most people want the closest copies of military issue variants. If they can do that and make them rugged and reliable they will do well in the US. Good luck!
Thanks for the video Misha, I've been really looking at the WBP pistol (undecided classic or tac) to turn into an SBR, the only thing I would do different I'd put the coat of arms (the bird) on all of the front trunnions and also put one on the receiver under the charging handle (like I've seen on other WBP's before) so they already have the tooling... Maybe both are too gaudy but all WBP's should have at least one coat of arms trunnion or frame
Thanks guys for the WPB info. They appear to be a VG company. Also, your format and presentation of information is the best. You guys got it goin on. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you, glad to hear the format for this video worked out. we really weren't sure how to do it. If i could have been reading like Jay, we could have split it up. As it was though, I just had to review and then repeat as best I could from memory. This is why we were sure to post the transcript because I didn't want to misspeak on WBP's behalf.
Great video’ my first parts kit I built was a wbp V project, I am glad they went to forged and I have used their new trunnions bolts and other parts in many builds..I absolutely love those barrels. WBP has become in my mind a go-to for quality and dependability..
Going to build a WBP AK! Count me in for three and a 5.56 when they offer them! I love a company that thinks about their customers and especially their employees and not just profit!!!
Love you guys. Thanks for the vid! Have 2 WBP’s already and they’ve both been awesome. They are a great group of guys over there, and I love dealing with the guys at Atlantic too. Plus Poland is super high on my ‘cool countries’ list. Good stuff all around gents
Thanks guys, your efforts do not go unnoticed. BRING IN 5.56 BERYLS NOW!! Im getting more and more used to the fact that 5.45 is going the way of the DODO.
~I just finished watching Rob Ski's 1,500 round test on the WPB Fox. It's looking good. ~I want so many AK Rifles, but have so little money. ~My preference is the Traditional AK look, but I'd never deny a Tactical looking AK from sharing a position in my Gun Room. All my AR Rifles have a modest Tactical look. ~I'd like to see AK Rifles made for the 5.56 NATO round.

My WBP wishlist... 1. Mini-Beryl clone 2. Dragunov 3. RPK 4. Steel reinforced poly mags (not that I have had a problem with the current WBPs, but would be nice to have something to compete with expensive Bulgie waffles) 5. 5.56 Tantal or another type of lightweight "handy" 5.56 AK Honestly wouldn't even have dreamed of a Dragunov if they hadn't mentioned it, but they did, so of course that's going on the list. That said I think some entries into the 5.56 AKM realm wouldn't be too far off by comparison. - Jay
I guess WBP changed their minds on 5.45.🤔 AOA has 5.45 WBP parts kits and WBP 5.45 mags available at this time. Hopefully we see a Polish 5.45 ammo source come out of this as well.
Thanks for your interview and sharing it with the public. One thing I would like to clarify/add is legal aspect of getting permit in Poland. Unfortunately, being under soviet occupation till 1989 (some say that still to this day), decades of neglecting basic laws, you have to know that low number of privately owned firearms per 1000 citizens comes from those decades spent under soviet stinky foot. Beside of private security agencies and companies, there are only 4 types of permit: for hunting (semi-auto and bolt action rifles and shotguns', no handgun!), for sports (you have to be a member of polish sports shooting association and club; rifles, handguns and shotguns', preferred is rim fired guns for "regular" Olympic shooting disciplines, but center fired are allowed to have also), for collecting (you have to be a member of some gun collector club, and lastly for self defense. Last one is impossible to get for grey man. You need to have valid reason to get that permit, and necessity is being evaluated without strict rules, this is purely decision of regional police bureau. Examples of valid reason: if you encountered multiple attacks in the past (!), you were a victim of multiple attacks in the past or you are running currency exchange company. You see madness here? But those regional police commandants does not hesitate to grant a self defense permit for people like: lawyers, prosecutors, colleagues. Now, bureaucracy, cost (WBP Jack in 223 Remington costs roughly 4300 PLN incl tax, which is around of an average monthly gross pay in Poland!), also brainwashing applied to previous generation (my parents) is the reason of low interest in firearms. In addition, nowadays our society took hard left turn towards socialism, leftism and other left wing rubbish. People are willing to give up their rights for peace and easy life "guaranteed" by the state. Another communistic revolution which can be also observed in USA. I hope that cold shower we get from what is currently happening with Ukraine, will at least change some of society. Peace!
The first cooperation of WBP with Fabryka Broni ,,Łucznik,, in Radom (the ,,Circle 11,,) started when WBP got the contract for all bayonets for military AK-s manufactured by Fabryka Broni for the Polish Army.
Hoping the milled WBP does happen. It would be interesting to give Arsenal some real competition in the milled-field (see what I did there? lol) Welcome to the channel, and we'll continue to you show you new WBP products as we're able to get our hands on them, cheers.
I will buy a couple to try out just to support a company that seems to care. Thhe rifles seem nice and of good quality over the garbage that's been coming out lately. Glad to see there is another choice beside arsenal or a wasr.
A Dragunov in 7.62x54R with over 23" barrel (and reasonably priced magazines to go with it), and an AK in 5.56/.223 (pistol or rifle). That's my wish list.
Plan on buying a fox ak from WBP but right now there's a mossberg 930 jm model in great condition at my local pawn for $399. Great questions guys! I hope they set up shop in USA.
WBP would corner the US market for AK Vepr-Saiga style shotguns if they made a decent one. There are no more imported from Russia. Get it made and set up an AK shotgun plant in the USA. Have hunter styles and tactical and folder styles. I bet WBP could pull this off.
I like this guy because he’s not ex military or a cop, for some reason military and cops think they’re are the only ones that should be into fire arms and everybody should worship what they say.
Best part of the video - the Chicken in a Biskit box in the background. LOL!!!! No seriously, great information. Love me some Polish goodies. Miss my Polish AKs.
Yes, rpk and Dragunov in 54R please! I going to have to buy a couple WBP rifles to support them. I will definitely get a rpk and Dragunov if they bring them in. Mishaco since the 5.45 is going the way of the dinosaur, I will take that Molot rpk 74 paper weight off your hands. Thanks in advance ; ) Awesome video and thank you.
Awesome video. The future with WBP looks bright if our politicians don't screw us over. I do plan on picking up a Fox rifle and Lynx pistol shortly. Additionally a factory made T3 rifle for the milled gun would be a great option for the US market. And if a Dragunov ever makes it state side, well shut up and take my money
Agreed, a T3 would be great or even just a quality Polish mfg milled receiver for us builders to use would still be pretty awesome. Also bonus points for the Futroma reference hehe.
Although the unique rear trunion is interesting, I would prefer to see a standard akm rear trunion since i will not use their mounting system and i prefer not to permanently modify my rifle or the furniture if possible.
Honestly ... the zastava m77 in 308 was a massive hit for the very short window they were available. I think they'd benefit from a 308 or 54R with around a 18" barrel, 10 or 20 rd magazines, and an adjustable gas block. But simultaniously... if they're going to make a Dragunov copy (not a PSL-type) the niche may already be filled. But there's a good chance that both would be successful. The AK type action, though less accurate, is easier to maintain and arguably more robust having more longevity. Where as people that want more accuracy and well... DRAGUNOV... I'm positive that they'll sell well. Particularly if they're offered at a good price point.
A live forum with the WBP folks and Rob Ski added in would be awesome but probably hard to schedule. WBP seems to give a damn unlike some other US importers. I've only good things to say about Atlantic Firearms and their service
Well, if an RPK type comes, it won't be for at least a year I bet. Imports take a good long time to materialize. As to mags, NIB FB-Radom 5.56 mags are about $35 for 1 or $100 for a 3 pack. I doubt anything too much cheaper will come around, and really that's not a bad price at all. Its just we've been spoiled by cheap AR15 and surplus AK47 mags, so it has kind of skewed things for us.
Thanks for doing the video and increasing awareness on the WBP product line Misha. I will keep an eye on your channel for when the new models come out! :)
I really want a Beryl very badly but do not want to pay $2500-3500 asking prices for them. I hope WBP comes out with an affordable 5.56 Beryl clone someday.
My primary vote for next product goes for a Dragunov. I also think it would give incentive for people who are not completely sold on WBP a reason to take the plunge as they would be the sole importer of kind of a dream gun in the US.
Agreed, If and i stress if WBP could pull off something like a Dragunov and it was of similar quality to the Fox, then people would really sit up and take notice of WBP. Lets hope.....
If 5.45 goes away, how does 7.62 not as well? All I see available is Russian manufacturers for both calibers. I don’t see any other imported ammo, from any other countries, besides Russia. I think your continuing mention, that the caliber is going away, is part of the reason for the 5.45 ammo prices rising.
Im surfing around to see if the issues rob ran into have been addressed, like with the rivets and boat tail/trigger interface and the splash it was causing on the tail.
The problem wasn't the bolt carrier, it was the Tapco g2 trigger kit, more specifically the hammer is dimensionally incorrect and too hard of a metal alloy compared to European spec.
Im very close to ordering the beryl style rifle, but im concerned about the issues with the boat tail and rivets that rob ski ran into. Does anyone know if they have been addressed?
I would like an 556 ak with a magwell adapter already installed for ar15 mags. A 5.45 ak would be neat but they would need to also offer a quality 5.45 mag, same for the 5.56 because they are hard to come by and expensive.
The issue there is that the AK74M has never been manufactured in Poland. So not sure WBP can get access to the required blueprints or tooling. I agree with you though. The AK74M is a personal favorite.
Very cool info! Thank you Mishaco. I'm freezing my ass off today at the range, but I have scheduled post at our Facebook page to go live at 9am CT...;-)
It is shockingly cold in AR right now so I can only imagine what it's like in the frozen wastes of IL. Godspeed friend! - Jay

Great info guys, outstanding job on questions, that's the best info on this company that I've seen and I like what I'm hearing.

Another vote for the 5.56 beryl. Those rifles sold like crazy and the used ones are stupid expensive on GunBroker..

Thanks much for watching, cheers.
Greets from Poland Mishaco, I love your videos.👍🍻.
Thank you so much for this Q&A.
5.56 style AK for sure.
Very Welcome, cheers.
I would like to see WBP make their translucent mags but with steel reinforced feed lips and locking lugs.
I love there kits, It is nice to build rifle with brand new parts!
God bless you sir for taking the time to make/share this juicy info.
Will they start exporting models with threaded barrels? Thanks for doing what you do Mishaco
I love this guy! Misha for President!
Ordered 3 wbp mags tonight for my vepr fm47-11 , I'd like to see a real drum mag like a top loader 👍👍😉
Hey mishaco I bought the wbp Fox AK47 Rifle from Atlanta firearms it’s a badass ak47 🥰 love it..Great ak47s will be coming from Poland...
A live forum with the WBP folks and Rob Ski added in would be awesome but probably hard to schedule. WBP seems to give a damn unlike some other US importers. I've only good things to say about Atlantic Firearms and their service
If they brought an SVD variant to market at around $1200-$1500 they would sell like hotcakes.
When you was shooting at night there were major sparks flying out the muzzle Misha. Just letting you no if it wasnt mentioned to you or not
ohh and good video and thanks for your time and technical info on the firearms.
"Absolutely no 5.45"
But judging from the box sitting in front of me, that didn't rule out AIMS-74 style parts kits, haha.
RPK?!? Kit build going to go on hold to see if that comes through 8). Love to get a 5.56 rifle and pistol combo if they can get mag prices down.....
Thanks for the great content Misha. Even if I should be sleeping!
Thank you for what you do!
I really want a Beryl very badly but do not want to pay $2500-3500 asking prices for them. I hope WBP comes out with an affordable 5.56 Beryl clone someday.
Misha tell WBP that with the slow death of 5.45 and Arsenal price-gouging their guns, the market for 5.56 AK's is a potential gold mine for them!
I agree. I had to build my own 5.56 AK from parts I had to collect. I want a beryl in 5.56.
Thank you for this video very informative and much appreciated.
thank you
Or a ak47 with a triangle folding, plum handguard.
Excellent video, but your Chicken In A Biscuit box is backwards.
Damnit, the sponsors will be furious! - Jay
If WBP / Atlantic Firearms collaborate on an SVD there will be one in my safe!
Cross fingers and maybe, just maybe one day.
Great info. I'm glad there are more choices out there.
Great video guys!
Thank you, cheers.
Completely unrelated but what is going on with Zastava? Why have they seemed to have disappeared from the market? Is century no longer importing?
"What is going on with Century?" there fixed it for you hehe. Really, the issu is with the importer, not the manufacturer.e
Im very close to ordering the beryl style rifle, but im concerned about the issues with the boat tail and rivets that rob ski ran into. Does anyone know if they have been addressed?
Opening scene...How Misha trims his bushes out front.
Excellent video. Would love to see a druganov or even a psl clone.
An Dragunov in 308 would be cool and also it would be nice to see a 5.56x45 drum, much like the Romanian drum.
Very cool. Great info y’all. Thank you
thank you
FYI, Poland's SOBIESKI 100% Rye Vodka is my all-time favorite hard drink.
I would like an 556 ak with a magwell adapter already installed for ar15 mags. A 5.45 ak would be neat but they would need to also offer a quality 5.45 mag, same for the 5.56 because they are hard to come by and expensive.
5.45x39 ain't happenin', WBP was crystal clear about that.
Russian style aks-74 or ak-74m in 5.56 and 7.62. We desperately need good factory folders
The issue there is that the AK74M has never been manufactured in Poland. So not sure WBP can get access to the required blueprints or tooling. I agree with you though. The AK74M is a personal favorite.
@@misha5670 not even a 1:1 copy just use a bulgy 4.5mm trunnion and reverse engineer it.
Do the polish versions also have the forged trunnion ?
556 AK,yes please, as long as it doesn’t take proprietary Mags
Scott P79
A vote for a 5.56 AK.
Why not just ask Radom to start exporting Beryls? Let WBP make cool stuff that Radom won't like Dragunovs
Lots of interesting things i wldnt have heard elsewhere likely
This post answered a bunch of questions. The only one of import that's still unaddressed is where did I put my%$@$%# armorer's hammer?
