Same for me. Thank to you Penitent. The Crossing Souls Trophy it's very difficult to obtain if no one told you to not talk to Lvdovico. I've done all the penitence (so I've played NG+ for three times) and never seen Cleofas death.
I wish the menus had more information. Like, unless I'm missing something, you can't see how many cherubs you freed in the menu anywhere. Or see how much you've donated to the donation box in the church.

Did the exact same 100% stuff for rebirth one, and Cleofas never appears in the church after talking to him in the rooftops even though he already has the burying item. ffs. bugged no longer working? Impossible to get prayer too, since he doesn't commit suicide, nor does he come to church.
You can still get the cord of true burial if you spare socorro and give her the 3 refuge items. This will prevent you from getting the crossing souls trophy. Do NOT talk to the guy at Albero
I’m sorry to hear that. You can make a back-up of your save game data to the cloud before talking to Cleofás and reload it after you got one trophy. This way you don’t have to do the first part of the game again.

I’m sorry to hear that. Since the DLC some players are experiencing the same issue. This guide should still work though. If you are planning to do another playthrough, make a backup savegame before you go to Cleofas, so you can retry again.
Update: I don't know in which patch it was changed, but having him jump to his death gives the Prayer anyway. The corpse "drops" it. That said, I don't understand why Ending Socorro's suffering locks you out of the Crossing Souls achievement. Cleofás goes to the Wall, then to the Rooftops, and then he jumps, no?
I did the end suffering option and followed to the prison rooms to talk to cleofas and all but he never summoned to the church, nor the rooftop, nor in his original spot nor jumped off the roof. He just like disappeared somebody tell me what I did 😅
So this literally just happened to me, I have the game paused in the background! I did the same thing, end suffering and have the item at the cell and he wasn’t on the roof. So I fell down using linen of golden thread from the spot where he should be standing at in arch cathedral rooftops and when I landed in patio of the silent steps cleofas was dead on the floor in front of me! He jumped! And I still got tiento to your thrones hairs!
@@ThomasTrophyTutorials So to save Cleofas you do need the marks regardless of which path is taken. I don’t know if this is a recent change, but if it is, that would explain why there’s a different outcome for some people. Based on what I tested, he will jump if the three marks are not acquired if he’s coming from the prison. If acquired he will go to the church.
I killed Socorro then gave cleofas the cord in the jail cell in wall of holy prohibition but he's not at the church in Albero, if i go to archcathedral rooftop will he be there ? If so I already gave him the cord so won't he just jump

Hey I chose end suffering and did all of the steps and I didn’t do the crossing souls trophy I wanted the rebirth trophy as soon as I left the rooftop he wasn’t at the church he killed himself I’m confused on why he did that?

@@quintessential20 i think they changed this quest in DLC. To get rebirth you probably need NOT end her suffering (so only tokens way). I ended her suffering, gave him the cord in the prison, he jumps anyway. Also donated 5000 to the church so the window is closed and No Answer. Too lazy to play again now, maybe some time later.
@@5hnccb same here. It seems you can't "End suffering" and get Rebirth anymore (probably since DLC), sounds logical at least, you kill her so no rebirth - Cleofas jumps anyway.. I failed both by not knowing anything and leting the old man go futher before Cleofas jumps.
This trophy is currently very bugged. I upgraded my church fully, and after I gave him the Cord of True Burial in the Wall of Holy Prohibitions, he wasn't in Albero. When I went back to the Rooftops however, he suddenly stood there and jumped after I left the screen and came back. Although I gave him the cord of true burying. So I got the Crossing Souls trophy instead of the Rebirth one. Strange indeed, but I am glad that I didn't go through all of these precautions with Redento for nothing.
I already have the cord of burying and now Cleofas won’t jump, I haven’t given him the cord yet but he’s not saying it doing anything except for giving the option of giving him the cord

There must be a change in this as I did the suffering option to get rebirth and the priest killed himself, so I couldnt get the trophy. I gave him the cord and went to the archcatherdral rooftops but he wasnt in the church. I then went back and found him dead like the crossing souls trophy.
@@ThomasTrophyTutorials there is one thing I notice that I didn't do, which was get all the mask. Since I did suffering, I did t think I needed them. Would that affected the outcome?
In this video I used "End her suffering" but it requires an additional step. I recommend you get all the masks and then talk to Cleofas and give the Cord of the True Burying Lvdovico gave you.
I did everything in the order you showed yo get rebirth ....... Cleofas keeps jumping off the cliff and not going to Albero . I am so done :/ I 100% Sekiro and it was hard as heck ..... But not tedious like this and there's bugs, fail options and sometimes both .
Only achievement I have issue with. The quest is tedious and unfun if you make a single error like talking to the wrong npc . Theres no trophy for getting the true ending but theres one for a random priest dude who worshiped a suffering lady.... Im a bit upset atm :')

Sadly my 1st playthrough seems bugged as I have unlocked every other trophy, 100% map completion, but game completion is stuck at 99. Every hidden room unlocked. I fear is bugged or I have to either complete Steige and Ruin or Quicksilver.
Hardly doubt it is bugged, no offense. Are you sure you checked all secret rooms? I recently replayed the game again and got the 100% trophy at 99.95%. I only picked up some Quicksilver but mainly focussed on the original game content. Have you done all quests as well? Like the Diosdado quest in Library of the Negated Words?

Nice guide to get the trophies. But you’re being misleading by saying you are required to do two playthroughs, (I saw you also said that on the psntrophies trophy guide comments) when you can just backup a save file before you talk to Redento on the Silent Steps and get Crossing Souls first then load up your original save file and proceed on to get Rebirth. Also saw where you confirmed this method on someone’s comment, so not sure why you’re saying two playthroughs is a requirement. Lol But nonetheless, as far as the guide goes on how to obtain them, good job. 👍🏼

I haven’t played the game yet but I wanted to ask a few questions. For the no healing during boss fight trophies, how tough did you find that trophy? If I’m struggling in a area/boss, can I farm enemies to the point where I’m overpowered?
Unfortunately I didn't had time to get this trophy. You can ask for healing assistance at some bosses, but that is only limited. I found that the bosses are rather difficult but after the second playthrough things were a little easier. You can not farm enemies or something to get very overpowered. Only thing you can do is upgrade the Mea Culpa and find the HP upgrades, but most of them require you to kill a certain boss.
I did this trophy last night and I didn't find it too bad. You might die a few times but you'll not get massively stuck on any of them. I think the only one I had trouble on was Crisanta Of The Wrapped Agony. Once you get the parry down, it's easy.

That’s strange. If you do another playthrough. I recommend you make a backup of your savegame before you talk to Cleofas. This way you can reload it if things don’t work out the second time.

Man I'm on my 2nd playthrough trying for the rebirth trophy and prayer, but when I finally meet him on arcathedral rooftops he's says something about " is this what a life of holiness has for me" and never shows up in albero. Anyone know what I may have done wrong?
I accidentally killed the lady. I got the necklace however, and freed him from jail, then spoke to him on the rooftops. He isn't at the church though, I am confused

I don’t have experience with the NG+ of Blasphemous, but with most games everything resets. You can also start a normal new game and make a back-up save to the cloud right before you reach Cleofas. This way you won’t have to do the first part over again if you fail or go for the other trophy.
I made Jibrael blow the trumpet and defeated the boss that appeared, then I made Cleofas jump and only then did I make the redeemer leave the Buried Churches And I got the achievement, you can make Cleofas jump before doing the redeemer's missions, when he gets to Cleofas' body you get the achievement But I defeated the boss that Jibrael summoned first, to make sure Cleofas went to the roof, and it worked.
I don't think it matters if you kill Socorro or make the offerings, as long as you give talk to Ludovico and get the Cord of True Burying and give it to him or not. You can kill or offer Socorro either way you can find Cleofas and give or not give him the Cord after killing or offering. I think the only difference is it makes Cleofas appear in lock room that opens with the key you buy, but I'm not even sure it does that. It seems killing or offering doesnt do anything either way, you can still get both endings because it's giving him the cord makes the only difference. I saved both and got the magic at the church. Maybe they patched it so you have to save both to get the magic, when you save Cleofas with the Cord after killing Socorro he lives but doesnt show up at the church but he will if you make offering to Socorro.
i choosed Offering.. to get the trophy and do that job either.... i gave 1 item then she needed more.. ( she didnt disappear as she did in the video) then i pressed the end suffering and i fucked it up 😅😐 np
I think you have to kill other 2 hammer soldiers on the rooftops of the mother of mothers, and after you obtain the 2 other items from them, you proceed to give them to her and then the priest will move to the rooftops on the left side, and there is when you give him that relic thing. And after that you'll be able to see him on albero’s church. It's kind of a chore to do but you'll get used to it
I saved cleofas from the edge of the cliff(did the suffering; freed him from prison...) , and now cleofas is not at the church in albero. How did I F it up?
@@ThomasTrophyTutorials so I watched your video again and I had done lvdovico’s quest before, so you can still get crossing roads achievement even if you have the cord which I had, because I had finished lvdovico’s first. I’m restarting over to save him cleofas successfully, but I have already donated inside the church (haven’t given any remains) so hopefully I haven’t F’d anything up.
I don't know why but I didn't get the achievement. Redento was standing next to the body and he had the right dialogue and everything. I did get the prayer but this was unfortunate.

I fully understand your pain. However you will notice that a second playthrough will be much easier and faster. Focus on getting to some Mea Culpa for increased damage and get those HP upgrades and flasks. Also avoid talking to Lvdovico before you make your backup save game.
My man, one question. What if I get to the point i meet Cleofas, backup a savefile, and manage to do both trophies in one run? Is it even possibile? I would Crossing Souls first, so that in my main file I would have Tiento
@@andreaagostinelli5310 thing is if you have redento pass to the last part where father is he will not see cleofas when he jumped to his death. So yeah it is possible just not if redento already passed his last point to advance forward
I haven’t played the game with New Game+. So I don’t really know what is included. I just played the original game a couple of times and later on with some DLC added but then a normal playthrough, not a New Game+.
I'm sorry to hear that. I understand you are upset. However my intentions are never to scam anybody. It's possible that they might have changed the quest a bit during one of the DLC. If you are going for another playthrough you can make a backup of your save game data on the cloud or usb, before you talk to Cleofás. This way you can retry the quest without having to replay the first part of the game.

I did this and he returned to the church, turns out he only does this if you have collected the 3 marks of the refuges, otherwise he will jump. I was following the fandom and they said he would jump no matter what. No offense to the creator of this guide, but I'm not sure why everyone leaves out important details such as these. I wanted to see what happened if I ended Socorro's suffering and get the crossing souls achievement. I guess I'll have to play the game a 3rd time, but tbh I probably won't.

If Redento already passed that point you can’t get any trophy. No other solution than to do another playthrough.

I killed Socorro then gave cleofas the cord in the jail cell in wall of holy prohibition but he's not at the church in Albero, if i go to archcathedral rooftop will he be there ? If so I already gave him the cord so won't he just jump

I think the Stir of Dawn DLC has made some changes to the questline. However I’m not 100% sure.

@@quintessential20 i think they changed this quest in DLC. To get rebirth you probably need NOT end her suffering (so only tokens way). I ended her suffering, gave him the cord in the prison, he jumps anyway. Also donated 5000 to the church so the window is closed and No Answer. Too lazy to play again now, maybe some time later.

@@5hnccb same here. It seems you can't "End suffering" and get Rebirth anymore (probably since DLC), sounds logical at least, you kill her so no rebirth - Cleofas jumps anyway.. I failed both by not knowing anything and leting the old man go futher before Cleofas jumps.

This trophy is currently very bugged. I upgraded my church fully, and after I gave him the Cord of True Burial in the Wall of Holy Prohibitions, he wasn't in Albero.
When I went back to the Rooftops however, he suddenly stood there and jumped after I left the screen and came back. Although I gave him the cord of true burying. So I got the Crossing Souls trophy instead of the Rebirth one. Strange indeed, but I am glad that I didn't go through all of these precautions with Redento for nothing.
I already have the cord of burying and now Cleofas won’t jump, I haven’t given him the cord yet but he’s not saying it doing anything except for giving the option of giving him the cord

There must be a change in this as I did the suffering option to get rebirth and the priest killed himself, so I couldnt get the trophy. I gave him the cord and went to the archcatherdral rooftops but he wasnt in the church. I then went back and found him dead like the crossing souls trophy.
Strange, I recently played this game again and the Rebirth path still worked for me.
@@ThomasTrophyTutorials there is one thing I notice that I didn't do, which was get all the mask. Since I did suffering, I did t think I needed them. Would that affected the outcome?
In this video I used "End her suffering" but it requires an additional step. I recommend you get all the masks and then talk to Cleofas and give the Cord of the True Burying Lvdovico gave you.
I did everything in the order you showed yo get rebirth ....... Cleofas keeps jumping off the cliff and not going to Albero . I am so done :/ I 100% Sekiro and it was hard as heck ..... But not tedious like this and there's bugs, fail options and sometimes both .

Only achievement I have issue with.
The quest is tedious and unfun if you make a single error like talking to the wrong npc .
Theres no trophy for getting the true ending but theres one for a random priest dude who worshiped a suffering lady.... Im a bit upset atm :')

Sadly my 1st playthrough seems bugged as I have unlocked every other trophy, 100% map completion, but game completion is stuck at 99. Every hidden room unlocked. I fear is bugged or I have to either complete Steige and Ruin or Quicksilver.
Hardly doubt it is bugged, no offense. Are you sure you checked all secret rooms? I recently replayed the game again and got the 100% trophy at 99.95%. I only picked up some Quicksilver but mainly focussed on the original game content. Have you done all quests as well? Like the Diosdado quest in Library of the Negated Words?

Nice guide to get the trophies.
But you’re being misleading by saying you are required to do two playthroughs, (I saw you also said that on the psntrophies trophy guide comments) when you can just backup a save file before you talk to Redento on the Silent Steps and get Crossing Souls first then load up your original save file and proceed on to get Rebirth.
Also saw where you confirmed this method on someone’s comment, so not sure why you’re saying two playthroughs is a requirement. Lol
But nonetheless, as far as the guide goes on how to obtain them, good job. 👍🏼

You are correct that making a back-up of the save file at that point is indeed a faster way than doing two playthroughs. At the time I didn’t really think this through and could’ve mentioned it.
Damn it I was hoping to get the crossing Souls Trophy and I pulled the first two steps
I haven’t played the game yet but I wanted to ask a few questions. For the no healing during boss fight trophies, how tough did you find that trophy? If I’m struggling in a area/boss, can I farm enemies to the point where I’m overpowered?
Unfortunately I didn't had time to get this trophy. You can ask for healing assistance at some bosses, but that is only limited. I found that the bosses are rather difficult but after the second playthrough things were a little easier. You can not farm enemies or something to get very overpowered. Only thing you can do is upgrade the Mea Culpa and find the HP upgrades, but most of them require you to kill a certain boss.
I did this trophy last night and I didn't find it too bad. You might die a few times but you'll not get massively stuck on any of them. I think the only one I had trouble on was Crisanta Of The Wrapped Agony. Once you get the parry down, it's easy.
For the rebirth trophy he’s not appearing at the church thing near albero, did I do something wrong?
Have you given him the cord? Have checked the other locations again? Did you donate to the church before doing this quest?

That’s strange. If you do another playthrough. I recommend you make a backup of your savegame before you talk to Cleofas. This way you can reload it if things don’t work out the second time.

Man I'm on my 2nd playthrough trying for the rebirth trophy and prayer, but when I finally meet him on arcathedral rooftops he's says something about " is this what a life of holiness has for me" and never shows up in albero. Anyone know what I may have done wrong?

The guide is wrong. killing socorro automatically results in a death (as I found out the hard way)

No, but you can back-up a save file to the cloud or usb and restart the game from there after you done one of the choices.

Yes, if Cleofas jumped then you are locked out of both achievements.

I don’t have experience with the NG+ of Blasphemous, but with most games everything resets. You can also start a normal new game and make a back-up save to the cloud right before you reach Cleofas. This way you won’t have to do the first part over again if you fail or go for the other trophy.
Will cleofas appear on the roof with jibrael there? Or do I have to get the jibrael out of there before making the offerings?
I’m not sure. Jibrael was added in the Stir of Dawn DLC. I recorded this video before that DLC.
I made Jibrael blow the trumpet and defeated the boss that appeared, then I made Cleofas jump and only then did I make the redeemer leave the Buried Churches
And I got the achievement, you can make Cleofas jump before doing the redeemer's missions, when he gets to Cleofas' body you get the achievement
But I defeated the boss that Jibrael summoned first, to make sure Cleofas went to the roof, and it worked.

I don't think it matters if you kill Socorro or make the offerings, as long as you give talk to Ludovico and get the Cord of True Burying and give it to him or not. You can kill or offer Socorro either way you can find Cleofas and give or not give him the Cord after killing or offering. I think the only difference is it makes Cleofas appear in lock room that opens with the key you buy, but I'm not even sure it does that. It seems killing or offering doesnt do anything either way, you can still get both endings because it's giving him the cord makes the only difference. I saved both and got the magic at the church. Maybe they patched it so you have to save both to get the magic, when you save Cleofas with the Cord after killing Socorro he lives but doesnt show up at the church but he will if you make offering to Socorro.

Ouch! Before you talk to Cleofas you can make a back-up of your save game data. This way you can reload it if you make any mistake.

I think you have to kill other 2 hammer soldiers on the rooftops of the mother of mothers, and after you obtain the 2 other items from them, you proceed to give them to her and then the priest will move to the rooftops on the left side, and there is when you give him that relic thing. I’m restarting over to save him cleofas successfully, but I have already donated inside the church (haven’t given any remains) so hopefully I haven’t F’d anything up.

You are not allowed talk to Lvdovico (in Albero) or you will be locked out of the Crossing Souls Trophy.
I don't know why but I didn't get the achievement. Redento was standing next to the body and he had the right dialogue and everything. I did get the prayer but this was unfortunate.

I fully understand your pain. However you will notice that a second playthrough will be much easier and faster. Focus on getting to some Mea Culpa for increased damage and get those HP upgrades and flasks. Also avoid talking to Lvdovico before you make your backup save game.

Because doing the Rebirth Trophy will lock you out of the Crossing Souls Trophy.

I haven’t played the game with New Game+. So I don’t really know what is included. I just played the original game a couple of times and later on with some DLC added but then a normal playthrough, not a New Game+.

I'm sorry to hear that. I understand you are upset. However my intentions are never to scam anybody. It's possible that they might have changed the quest a bit during one of the DLC. If you are going for another playthrough you can make a backup of your save game data on the cloud or usb, before you talk to Cleofás. This way you can retry the quest without having to replay the first part of the game.

I did this and he returned to the church, turns out he only does this if you have collected the 3 marks of the refuges, otherwise he will jump. I was following the fandom and they said he would jump no matter what. No offense to the creator of this guide, but I'm not sure why everyone leaves out important details such as these. I wanted to see what happened if I ended Socorro's suffering and get the crossing souls achievement. I guess I'll have to play the game a 3rd time, but tbh I probably won't.

Collectables don't carry over but everything else does
