this shiva dance is a type of "rudratandayam" as we call it. Shiva does this kind of dance. actually there are many other steps.

I bought this DVD. It's amazing! I love it.
I thought it was free dance... you know, listen to YOUR body etc. Why are they all doing the same movements?
its a pure free dance, listen your soul and dance.. well lord shiva is great....
awesome i combine tai chi with trance and i try to controlling my euforie and put my energy back to my dantien and flame my solar up to a high level of energy
so my body is full of energy what is very useful for almost everthing ... tao

@AcaciaFitness Well, you know, actually you provided a way of a free download, by putting the video up here. Even with streaming, it's still being downloaded :D
And the streamed temporary file can be saved too, theoretically.
this is beautiful and i experience this at the spiritual trance festivals :)
i don't get why all this speaking about freedom of movement, while the steps are very well guided.....and what about meditation? which meditation? sorry but even if i love any new way of looking inside, i don't see here the different from any group dance......????

I am not sure if I heard that she was trying to say that this is the dance that the g-d "Shiva" performs upon Mount Kailash or upon the demon of ignorance, Apasmara Purusha. If that is the case than she is wrong. This jumping around in an uncouth manner is not what "Shiva" is said to have done (myth wise). Shiva was said to have created a style known as the tandava. What this has to do with yoga I do not understand. People need to realize that yoga is not what the West as made it out to be.
