No problem self-loading triples, we do it all the time. This clip just happens to show top loading.
Nope, hinge is not prone to seizing from rust or dirt buildup. But it won't hurt to pour a quart or so of the waist oil on the hinge when you change the oil on the tractor. It is a very reliable design used for over 30 years.

With the pan so high off the ground it creates some untidy unloading. Would have to clean up the area with a dozer. Give me a CAT scraper any day.
Ok I was wondering what y'all had hooked to 3 pans... lol... but I see he's not having to load em.
What kind of hinge do you use ? I assume a hinge down in the dirt, is prone to seizing due to rust and dirt buildup ?
stainless steel pin in steel bushings ? or steel pin in Teflon bushings ?
