Mike I think it would be cool if you could make a video on the mts tractor that is based on the delta track, that thing sounds like it would be a monster.
It's a big fleet of big machines. How many tractors there? And how many acres to prepare? Excelent video and operation but always better hear the engines. Thanks to all. From Portugal.
Looks like the pans had antennas on them. Was all the cutting being done with GPS? I've been out of dirt moving for a while but I'm told those pans can even dump on grade using those GPS systems now.
Great video and good music. But I am very ignorant about the point of this activity. Is this a form of top-soil harvesting that will then be sold to various developers or to enrich other fields, etc.?
Joe. Down in the Delta area they will go in and take the high spots off the fields and fill in the low areas. They also put a slight grade on the field then they can flood irrigate the crops and the water will run to the end and a drainage ditch will catch any run off. However this will only work in certain types of soil. Ohio is one area this would not work well.
I did this for yrs. You can do it on medium to heavy soil, from mixed dirt to gumbo. It may last up to 15 to 20 yrs before you have to do a touch up on field
I wondered the same thing. It looks like the whole point of the exercize was to waste fuel on scraping soil and just returning it to the same strip on the return just to make "the ultimate scraper video."
They are cutting a high spot out, with GPS they are all linked together. In gumbo it takes multiple trips to cut it to grade,, you just don't go and cut a foot of dirt on one trip, sand is a little different.
Shane Peterson The Versatile 485 is pretty strong. The two Versatile 500 tractors were pulling 22 yard tandems while all the others were pulling tandem 18's. I think the Challengers do good but I never ran one.
The blacked out windows looks good on all of them
That's alot of horsepower in that 1 field and a lot of money too.
Good video, but I would rather hear the sound of the engines instead of the music.
One John Deere out there. I bet the boss is driving it.
Would prefer to hear the tractors, not the music. Did enjoy the video👍👍
Glad to hear this. Was afraid they were grading for a new Wal Mart or something.
The dual 20 yard scrapers are equivalent to 1 cat 657 scraper, not bad at all for moving lots of dirt.
I like heavy equipment aspecialy when there working in the field like they are and i dont see nothing wrong with it

nothing like big horsepower!

Did they all tint there windows at the same time

Mike Less Thank you. I'm going to ponder this. That helps me think about this.

Just wandering who's keeping grade?

Can some one use tyre chain to do land levelling
The Dodge with the liquid trailer@1:46 looks like Jason from Hollis Farms truck. is it?
Who’s playing the guitar tune?
Which tractors perform the best out of all them?

Not watching any more of your videos until you cut out the music,i want to hear engines not music
Philip McCartney ummm I haven’t used music in a video for a year now.
