    Beautiful tumbler! Where did you get the cradle you used to hold your tumbler?

      @addabitofbling  Рік тому

      Thanks! I don’t believe it’s available anymore, but it was from Deco Dans. It’s a silicone cradle.

    Beautiful cup! Do you think I could do this with tack it to apply the mica's instead of epoxy? Thanks so much.

    • @addabitofbling
      @addabitofbling  Місяць тому

      Unfortunately, I don’t think that would work well. The wet epoxy allows you to dab on the mica and then pull it to streak it out. With tack it, once you dab it on there it’s stuck down. If you want to experiment you could always try it on a piece of scrap vinyl to see how it would look before doing it on your cup.

      @@addabitofbling thank you so much. I've been so intimidated on this but I have got to try. Thank you!

      It’s super easy! It only looks like it’s complicated when it’s finished, but it’s honestly as easy as dragging a paint brush through it.
      I’m sure yours will be fabulous! Be sure and post it somewhere on socials and tag me so I can see it! 🩷

    If there are bubbles or imperfections in the mica layer can you sand that a bit?

    • @addabitofbling
      @addabitofbling  Рік тому

      You can sand, but you don’t have to worry about anything minor because the next coat of epoxy helps too. But You can certainly sand down a less attractive area.

    How do you clean the brush after? Can you reuse it?

    • @addabitofbling
      @addabitofbling  2 роки тому

      I dip the bristles in acetone to clean them then wash with soap and water like normal

    Which mica colors from the set did you use for this tutorial?

      The magic ones. There’s a pic of the packaging in the video too. 😊
