If I may say so... The costumes are really dope! 💞 However, I think while performing those intense songs be more excentric. More body language and facial expression would really evaluate the overall greatness you guys are trying to achieve. To put it more simply: Be bonkers! Go crazy! (Was that to harsh?)
I respect your point of view, of course. I tried to make the vibe of the animated show irl using simple moves that give the vibe in the musicals. We still have more to come, and the intensity will rise up in the upcoming acts ✅️
I'd like to second. Especially Adam needs to be played with much more force and much more expressive, he's a loud, smug character who loves to show himself off, I think that should be acted out without any hesitation by his actor. Give all, give everything, play forward, try to play Charlie against the wall! (Of course, it's up to her to stand to his "attack" in character!) Velvette: her actress is really good, but seems to be a bit shy, as if she's not trusting her acting herself. Go for it, girl, you're on the right way, just go along, you basically can't overdo it with Velvette! :) The other actors fitted their characters pretty well, I think. Very beautiful and extensive cosplays, respect! And a nice idea to put the songs together with live acting, I love it!
i see what ur trying to do but the problem is that those movements are used in musicals because theyre up on stage, thats why theatre makeup is also a thing. it looks a lot different from far away, but the filming here was not done from far away, so the movements look stiff and out of place. even when doing the musical concept i think youve got a lot more room for movement here than was used that being said the costuming and the sets were f❤king amazing. im a nitpicker and ive got no complaints there, genuinely did an amazing job on that
