Reminds me so much of my very ancient trip to Egypt, awful and walking around Las Vegas with all the people standing around hustling and giving out prostitute cards - so disgusting. For all the people upset with James showing the bad in Morrocco - just accept it, it is the truth. Just like any place where hustling is everywhere - it is an awful experience and they target travelers. Just because you aren't targeted doesn't me the rest of us aren't. You guys talk about how rude James is, he is nothing compared to your vapid and depraved statements in the comment section.
Wow - thanks so much for your support there friend. You cant imagine the vitriol that was automatically filtered out and blocked by UA-cam. I haven't experienced it anywhere else - either in the country, or from its citizens online. Thank you.
I wish you did a video explaining who you are, where you're from, why you decided to travel etc so that us viewers can connect with you properly! Tell us your story :)
That would be great, but I might well leave that for a new chapter… if you watch my earlier videos you’ll piece together some of the backstory - consider it an easter egg
@@InvestedAdventure A new chapter such as? Also, there's plenty of videos to get through so that's not really viable. I would say though, it'd definitely help with building an audience! More loyal ones too.

Fez was the best city full of educated and sophisticated people, but we have changed the problem in Morocco is immigration from one side to the other. If you get to know the real Fassis, you will see a big difference between them and the rest of the Moroccans. Fez is known for its traditional shops, and its people were civilized, then it changed completely, and this is the same as what the rest of the major cities suffer from. Visit the city of Essaouira, although it was also not spared from change.
You clearly don’t understand how to act, the interactions with people that you’re having are the same for you as they are for me as a Local, sellers will persist and trynna start the talking with you, cause when u start the talking it’s done for them, if you dont want something just ignore them, and i insist on ignoring them. Also, you should have a local guide to learn from him how to act with these locals.
Okay. So be treated harshly and tolerate it. Sounds like a civilised culture. Or gaslighting. Either way, the truth is out and people are able to make their own decision

I completely agree with you. It was very stressful watching him continue to walk with that guy and him complaining about the google maps saying he's going in the wrong direction. Why would James care about hurting this very rude fellow's feelings instead of just doing what he came there for. Unless he was doing it for other reasons.
I'm glad to have helped you my friend. There is so much gaslighting and propaganda by locals, it's even here online. I will hand on heart tell you that in travelling over 20 countries in my first year of vlogging, meeting fellow travellers from so many nations and cultures (sometimes very different to mine), Morocco is the only country that people consistently report negative experiences of. I have no axe to grind with anyone, or any country, unless (as was the case here) there is clear reason. Check out my final video which is released today, and good luck in your future travels
don't listen to him and go form your own proper opinion about the country. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Everyone I know who has been to Morocco has loved it. I advise you to visit the small towns you'll like it even more. I still can't understand why he has such a hate towards Morocco, he went there ready to criticize the country before getting to know it.
