It's about what you can give, not what you can take xxxx
I did similar trip frim casablanca to marzouga with my kid it was best trip ever I think you just got unlucky with a wrong agency that's why you have to pick from reel agency recognised not just those guys proposing trips .Hard luck because this kind of trip is one of the best usually
If you want to discover some amazing history which isn't known to the outside world you should go to Rissani. It's very close to Merzouga and it's the place where the current ruling dynasty of Morocco originated from. It has ruines of an ancient city called Sijlmassa which was once the biggest trading centre worldwide.
This is a great video . Perhaps your best one ever because it shows the viewer that not all trips are sunlight and roses. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us . Once you showed the roaches, i was done lol . Im extremely phobic of them . I dont know what i would have definitely done if i saw that while I was there.
Thank you, yes it’s such a shame! The places were so beautiful, and with a bit of care by the tour agency, it could have been the most memorable trip to many people worldwide! Next time have to do a private tour to thoroughly enjoy the experience!
I’m sorry you had such a bad experience. I visited Merzouga and the desert and had a great time. My travel agent in The Netherlands had a completely organized trip where we stayed in a beautiful 4-star hotel and ate great food. In Marrakesh I saw so many shady agents, sadly. Morocco is such a beautiful country with friendly people, I’m sad you met the wrong people.
It's about the budget, there are many tourists recently choose the shared tours from the agents, or if they meet a guide that he supposed them this kind of tours. They have to pay just 150 or 200 euro to have 3 days tour in a minibus with accommodation coming with dinner and break fast. May be they will get a nice experience, but it can't be satisfied. 🤷♂️
I bet you had a terrible journey here in Morocco, as a guide working many years in this domain, I have to explain some things, in your situation it seems like you chose to travel in a group ( shared tour) in a minibus, not a van as you said, with standard accommodation, this is the cheapest plan around $150 per person, you can't expect a lot with this price, as you showed us in your video, a dirty camp you have visited, many hours you spend in the van, 2 hours of trekking a camel is a lot. You have returned back with camel again, 4 hours in total, you will really feel dull, 1 hour is more than enough, in the next time you have to tell your fans that you just paid $150 for a 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, more than 1400 km of travel. As a tour guide and driver, many worldwide people who I made their experience unforgettably, so if you are a first-time visitor and you wanna spend a good time with your family or friends and maybe alone, I highly recommend you a private tour in a 4x4 car or a luxury van, with luxury accommodation, the luxury accommodation you wouldn't find any issues with food or comfort beds. I have many things that I should resolve in this video but I think the words are not enough. if you are looking for a safe and best experience ever you have to pay money, that's it. THIS IS NOT THE REAL MOROCCO THAT YOU FILMED WITH YOUR GOPRO.
