@@funkymonkey4650 No problem!
Helped a lot thanks!
THANK YOU!!!
Love how thorough this tutorial is! You teach the stitches in case anyone watching doesn't know them. You're very descriptive. Thanks for making such a great tutorial! Cant wait to try my first scrunchy
Woah made this in like 20 minutes!! 😆 I literally just learned how to crochet like a month ago and this is THE EASIEST project I have come across. The instructions are super clear and they’re so much fun to make. Thank you Kelsie!! 🫶🏽😊
❤ I just found your channel yesterday and I am so excited! I am 80 and I have a huge family, so I will be making a lot of scrunchies! I really enjoy your videos❤
I love how you gave us the option to either use the treble crochet or the double crotchet with two tutorials. 😊
Nice and easy. Love it! It’s one of those mindless projects you can whip up while watching a movie. Thank you!
I caught your edits for the scrunchies in your Vlog-mas videos and have been using them since. I love how they turn out! Everyone got one for Christmas this year, in their stocking lol and all the girls on my daughter's cheer team got one. 😂😊 Thanks for sharing an updated tutorial. ❤
What is the edit was ?
I've been crocheting 1 row of dc, then 2 dc in each stitch for second row. I'll have to try your way next. Thank you for this video!
I made my very first scrunchie today and it turn out wonderfully thanks to you😩😩😩💖
I would recommend for people who are beginners, or if you (like myself) are visually impaired, to use a stitch marker on the 1st single crochet and treble crochet so its a bit easier to see where everything starts
I just made one of these today, it was a practice one with soft acrylic yarn. Now I feel confident enough to move on and try with velvet yarn! thank you so much for this tutorial, it was extremely helpful!
Thank you for this tutorial!! They look amazing ❤
Omg! Best scrunchie tutorial evah!
Cant wait to do these! You made it so simple, and I love the heavy ruffle look. I was doing only DC stitches.
YAY omg thank you so much for making this updated scrunchie tutorial! I was the one that asked on instagram the other day 😅
I’ve used your old tutorial for years so I’ll be using this one now! Love everything you make 😊❤
Very pretty and easy!! Thank you for the tutorial!
Just made my daughter one of these ❤ she loves it!
Thank you for this tutorial it was so clear and easy to follow. I just made one using Bernat twisted velvet an I’m in love with it
I don’t know how I missed this. Thanks for sharing!!! Have a good night!!!❤❤❤
i think it's so funny that you decided to remake this tutorial because i just went looking for the video from a couple of years ago!! can't wait to try it out
I've been making scrunchies since I watched vlogmas, based on the instructions then loool. It's good to know I'm actually doing it the same way, thanks gf ❤❤❤
Omg this is the best video ever thank you so much, this was so clear to understand ❤
I love these so much! I just made 2 in under an hour for the first time! 😊
Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial!!!
I love your videos so much!! I will be making them!!
So fluffy and cute!
Awesome tutorial Kelsie and I love all your videos, you are hilarious 😂 I just made a bunch of these for my Etsy shop ❤
Love this ❤ thanks for the upload 🧶
This video is very clear and my all queries were answered with one video😊tq so much
Thanks for sharing this tutorial!
Thanks for the tutorial! I used a 5 weight chenille yarn, 6mm hook with double crochet and 25 sc around. It turned out really cute !
Finally bought the velvet yarn today and will make this accordingly (I’ve done acrylic, chenille and cotton). You’re my top crochet artist!! ❤
Have fun!
Thank you so much kelsie❤
So useful made my first one and it was so fun😄
Love it! Thank you for this tutorial :) Love from the Philippines!
I can't wait to try this!! ❤
Definitely going to do a bunch of them
I am trying this video and it is amazing!!!!
Love the tutorial thank you !
I'm ngl, but, I was quite intimidated by looking at the scrunchie in the beginning.
1) You crochet really fast in other videos. 2) I don't have a great experience with velvet yarn. It ended up turning out sooo well. I was not expecting it to be only 2 stitches!🤣 Thank you for this tutorial. ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your talent =)
Love this! I’ve made 2 so far.
I did 50 sc around the hair tie so 2 trb each stitch was good enough ruffling for me!
❤❤❤ thanks for such an easy to follow tutorial 😊 I just made my 1st one and it's so cute I love it. I used a pink chenille yarn from the dollar tree it's ok but it sheds from the end that's cut when I went to sew in my tails which sucks but it still turned out great 😂 ❤
Those pony tails bands dont last in tropical heat. So im going to try normal elastic. I used to make these for my own daughter 20 yrs ago for her dance buns. . The chenille yarn i can get in Australia might look cute.
Love this❤❤😊
I'm going to make so many of those. I only ever use scrunchies on my hair.
This video didn’t show up on my subscriptions page, I almost missed it 😭 gotta hit the bell!
Thanks now I know how to make on
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I made one for my friend and she loved it
Thank You for sharing💕
Thanks for watching!
Easy and cute
Awesome! Going to make some gifts for friends and family😊 Would you consider making a tutorial for your bandanas? I found one on your channel but dont know if its updated 😊
Excellent tutorial! Thank you so much for sharing. Much appreciated.
You're very welcome!
I make it it's very nice thanks ❤😊😘
I haven't had to clean last couple times. They doing better.
Thank you ❤
I’m not even finished with my scrunchie yet and I already no it’s going to be cute
Nice.😊
friend: Hey what are you doing??
Me: Sitting down eating a cookies n' cream Hersey bar, and drinking a strawberry and cream Dr pepper while watching my favorite youtuber
friend: ...
Hell yeah trebles! 😎
Thank you so much for this!!! I crocheted one for my sister and she absolutely loves it, crocheting more now!
Me wanting to make a scrunchie but not wanting to sacrifice a hair tie for it 💀
I literally just went to Target to get hair ties to crochet a scrunchie
Oh this is a good use for the velvet yarn I have! Won't the end come loose once the scrunchie is stretched?
Hi what would u suggest to start crochet as I can do the square blankets thank s faye
I loved watching this video. How many did you get from one ball?
I love this I’m going to make some for my granddaughter to wear to school
Can you use medium 4 yarn ? would that work
Thank you for any help you can give me
Hi Kelsie, I love your videos! I was wondering how you do them with the outline of a different colour?
By the looks of most of them from her blogs she does the first sc in one colour and the trebbles in the other colour
I just made one for my daughter
I may have gone a little crazy when I was adding stitches at the beginning…it’s very fluffy!
Question!! Have you ever used the Bernat pipsqueak yarn for scrunchies? I'm curious how it would work out.
I made one and it’s so cute! But my a run goes after adding even just 20 sc stop shrinking fully back to size, they wind up not quite as stretchy as a result. Are my sc stitches too tight perhaps?
Would you suggest using the same hook size and 35 stitch count even if we’re using Bernat baby velvet which is a slightly different weight?
Love these! Only thing I’m scared of is if they will unravel. Has that ever happened to you?!
That's why I slip stitch then weave the ends in
thank you so much for them!!! can i sell them?? i will give you credit and people know i'm not um.. lets say the most creative person💖💖
Yes you can!
@@PassioKnitKelsie Thank you!!🥰☺
I don't know if this is a stupid question, but are these scrunchies meant to be twisted like regular hair ties? Or do they just stay on without falling off because of the ruffles?
This is just so I remember my place 3:25
😊
😊
I missed the band strech part ❤
I have bernat blanket yarn yarn size 6 super bulky 😭 will that work also?
Hi could you give me a link to that red juicy couture wool, can’t find it anywhere. Thankyou.
Will this work with yarn that's not velvet?
Yes of course it will work!
Your scrunchies are so cute! I know they are very popular in your shop. I have a silly question though. How do you wear them (they are sold in pairs)??
Just like a regular pony tail holder
Is there other yarn you could recommend
Any idea how many yards it takes for one? Wanting to roll smalls balls to save on packing?
is it okay w/o velvet yarn?
How many scrunchies do you make with 1 skein of juicy couture?
Great video, thank you ❤.
Usually 4
@@PassioKnitKelsie thank you 😊
Do you prefer the treble crochets for your scrunchies over double?
Yes I do, makes them a bit bigger and fluffier
@@PassioKnitKelsie I’m going to try it out
I love them but they are so hard to see the stitches I just put them where I feel a gap lol😅😢
I accidentally bought the juicy couture yarn that’s size 6, is that too big?
0 do you mean by like so you go under the rubber band and then new yarn over but how do you pull through?
Go under the band(same as going through a stitch) yarn over, pull through the band, yarn over again, pull through to do a sc
What brand are your ponytail holders. The ones that I'm using are not stretchy at ALL, so my scrunchies come out too tight for the hair, only usable for tiny wrist accessories. I want any girl to be able to wear them in their hair and on their wrist. Please help me out girl. Oh and love love love your channel.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Goody or scunci
@@PassioKnitKelsie OKAY THX😊😊
Hi
Good tutorial. Mine hasn't come out as wavy and even as yours although putting 3tr in each stitch. Don't think I can put pic in here to show you.
Please advise. Thanks. Jo
Possibly try to fit more sc around the hair tie, should be around 30+ then when you are doing the trebles make sure you aren’t skipping any stitches since they are so close together they’re easy to miss :)
What brand bands do you recommend?? I am desperately trying to make some of these but my scrunchie bands keep breaking. 😢
Goody or Scünci (she replied in another comment) hope it helps!🥰
My problem is always the twisted stitches😭 its so annoying
How many scrunchies can you get from one skein
Hey! May I know how much do you charge for these velvet scrunchies?
Where was this video last night?😂
Being uploaded 😅
😂🫣
I have a question
Is Joan or Michaels better to buy yarn?
Like overall what has better prices and more yarn
💜🧶💜🧶💜
I don't understand please 🥺 teach me please 🥺🥺🥺😍 i
