    Never looked at Atlas, but I'm definitely going to get him after watching this.

    Have yet to fully invest in Atlas, but I feel he should be kind designed like Nidus in a way. Keep his 1, remove the 2 and make petrify be his 2 istead for 50 energy. The 3 and 4 will be used to, like nidus, to help him gain rubble.
    His 3 would be rocks that cover the ground, doing small dot damage but more importantly, slowing enemies and making them be petrified over time. Think of it like Oberons hollowed ground or nidus 4, could also make it like gloom that its centre is set on you, but drain rubble over time.
    His 4 is replaced with, well I like the idea of him being a golem based from the augment, instead of the crap it does make it so his 2 has more angle and his 3 has increased slow, while also making his landslide do more damage and match enemy defense to make it scale better... hopefully.
    Could also make it so his 1 in not pseudo-exalted and using his 4 allows the user to "unlock" it like barruk in a way while also keeping landsides functionality of a distance closer.

    Does lower power strength decrease rumbler size? can I have teeny tiny rumblers for no reason?
    Jokes aside, thank you for this great guide. Have Atlas Prime baking in the foundry, and can't wait to punch everything to oblivion.

    Yknow I was wondering about the armor bar at the bottom right corner where the abilities are so is it very much needed for a build or something because I have the prime I just need to figure out the armor thing but very much appreciate the guide bro 👍

      Yeah they help but they do not give the bonus from spamming landslide unfortunately unless they fixed it. I just found it easier that if I needed my gun I could use deadhead to get a couple headshot kills to crank my weapon fast and you really don’t need any other focus school.

    Hope you're doing well. Finally got around to Atlas and had a couple of questions: Why does Eclipse work on Landslide? I've read it only gives a weapon damage buff. Also if it does work, why is it even a competition between Eclipse and Roar other than the fact that Eclipse's damage buff isn't always active in some tilesets.

    • @LucidWolf
      @LucidWolf  2 роки тому +3

      Good question!
      It works because it’s considered a melee weapon, as opposed to an ability.
      I haven’t read much into the differences between these damage buffs, but I do know they are also calculated very differently. Roar is calculated like a Bane mod, it does faction damage multiplier, whereas Eclipse damage is multiplicative after calculating your weapons damage. With this info, you may be able to figure out some calculations to figure out which is better. Technically speaking, a 400% eclipse isn’t necessarily better than a 200% roar because of this. It may be, but like I said I do not know the math, except for the fact that they are not calculated the same, which is why the %s are so different.
      That being said, yeah the convenience of Roar working anywhere, at any time, is considered a convenience that makes some people like this more. Not to mention it goes on your team as well, without an augment. And it stacks with other roars too.
      Hopefully this helps a bit

      @@Orcrion Yeah, tbh, I kind of only play Atlas solo when I do play him so I run Eclipse on the buff landslide build. I think there's a video out there doing damage testing of all damage buffs' effect on landslide and eclipse was far and away the best one.

      20:46 It sounds like you're missing a melee weapon with the proper mods. I mentioned in another comment to someone else that the base crit of Landslide is pretty low but it still hits hard.

    • @TheMaxCloud
      @TheMaxCloud 2 роки тому

      @@LucidWolf I made a crit build and everything, Im using a Zaw that I made for Crit exclusively, so... the Build IS for crit chance and damage.
      Thats why I think its strange, Im not getting even Near the numbers Im seeing people get, and IDK why. With over 200% power strange, all the crit mods lvld up (except I ont use the Umbral cause I dont have em leveled up, but I used the Primed ones)

      @@TheMaxCloud The stats of the weapon you use does not matter as the ability has its own stats. The base crit of landslide is 5%. For clarification, I could use the Mk. 1 Bo with the same results as my Tekko prime, as long as I use the same mods. Please try using the build I show on the melee and report back with the results. Take care to also make sure your combo multiplier is high when testing.

      So tje ability does not deal that good amount of damage at first, but after 10 or 12 it does? Ill test your build as close as I can, the melee one, mostly because of the combo. I am testing on lvl 115 Corrupted Grineers (the tall ones that are women, cant remember their names)

      Landslide have 5% crit and 2x multi , I would mod for pure damage and element damage and not bother with crit, even with max blood rush you are getting 27% crit

    I'm back after 2 years, I'm trying to mod atlas prime. I have Furax Wraith and riven, crit-dmg and impact, I can't crit with landslide (it has 180 crit rate), I couldn't fix it no matter what I did. Could someone share the build for me, please? I'm tired of staring at the screen for hours.

    • @LucidWolf
      @LucidWolf  2 роки тому +3

      At 20:46 I explain in detail the mods you need to be running on your melee. Additionally you need to be at a 12x melee combo to start getting consistent crits because blood rush works off of the multiplier. Technically landslide only has a base crit of 5% so you won't be critting much anyway.

    Love how you give the false information on diminishing returns for armour, the percentage reductions increase more slowly because they are reducing an already smaller share of still recieved damage, going from0 -50% is halving the damage, going from 50 - 75% is once again halving the damage, despite the increase being smaller

    • @LucidWolf
      @LucidWolf  Рік тому +14

      And it also takes twice as much armor to get there. You need 300 armor to be at 50% reduction, then you need 900 to get to 75%. Don't pretend like I'm trying to purposely give out false information, but from what I can tell the definition of diminishing returns is as follows:
      "proportionally smaller profits or benefits derived from something as more money or energy is invested in it."
      This is a case of diminishing returns, where it takes double the input to achieve another "half" in damage reduction as you claim. Not sure where I'm wrong.

      Stfu. Don't make your lack of understanding of diminishing returns everyone's problem. How about you don't claim someone is lying about something you don't even understand.

    • @Aut0nym0us
      @Aut0nym0us Рік тому

      @@LucidWolf I think the reason why he's calling you out for giving "misinformation" is because you're wording it as if going for umbral fiber is simply just an extremely bad choice, due to "massive" diminishing returns. It's true that it gets extremely harder to squeeze out those extra damage reduction percentage the higher you go, requiring massive amounts of armor, but in Steel Path I can honestly see how it may be SOMEWHAT of a reasonable thinking, getting from 90% to 95% reduction for example (just hypothetically). You didn't exactly stated out how valuable it can be, and players could have their preferences.
