When using Vazarin's 2 ability, it pulls enemies in causing them to ragdoll, effectively putting them into a state that a "ground finisher" can be performed on them. But again, just look down at them, press melee button, and the finisher will be performed (usually).

I mean to get max buff with +6 permanent combo to 220 You only need to kill 37 enemies~ Fast stacking and kinda op. Btw Glave explosion build can work with it crazy good. Mayby some bonus damage from ivaras controll ability and some crazy 10 billion is easy~

You can also use Roar as Helminth ability since it stacks wonderfully with Kullervo and you get enough energy most of the times anyways. nautilus with Manifold Bond can also group enemys and proc viral, otherwise I love to use the epitaph to prime viral, cold and blast in one go.
+1 for Vigorous Swap. But Precision intensify so much better for an eclipse contagion build. Even Bigger red crits. Breach surge doesnt need much strenght to hit dmg cap anyway.
Ive been enjoying Melee Retaliation on Styanax, since im always overguarded, my shield never goes down and my melee gets the damage multiplier from the arcane and the critical chance from Styanax’s’ passive
A rank one Melee Crescendo takes you 220 finishers. A maxed out one, only 37. You dont even need the focus school. Bronco (Prime) with its mod exists. Also I noticed while fumbling around in the simulacrum that dagger heavy attacks can open up enemies to finishers. Then there is the parry mod if you are getting desperate. If you have Equinox or their ability in the helminth, use that instead. Banshees silence does also opens up enemies for finishers as far as I remember and I dont know if Kullervos 1 does count or not.
Anyone tried it with the SYAM yet, that one heavy attack get carried over to EVERYTHING it hits and I mean everything. Forget nukes, I'm calling it the Grounds Sweeper XD

It works on loki too, i just one shot the acolyte with Contagion Zaw Strike, it's a sepfahn zaw strike with contagion and vazarin focus for grouping enemies like you showed in a video

I've been playing this game on/off for a long time and even though my MR is 22 I think most of my builds are garbage lol I put a lot of formas on them early so now to make them doable for higher levels, I have to put better/stronger mods on them basically having to replace polaraties. No one plays in my clan, and no one talks in games, so just kind of winging it. Thanks for your videos, keep it up!

Absolutely unusable without a max rank arcane (now going for about 750p), took me like 12mins to stack up to 12x in solo (can't even imagine how hard it'd be in a 4man with everyone killing everything before you can even try to get the jank ground finisher to proc once)

Contagion only benefits from combo after it has travelled for 30 meters and has that small energy explosion. You even show this when you're explaining the build but then when you showcase it in the void, you're not throwing it nearly far enough for it to matter that you have Melee Crescendo.
well, its not worth to spam the living shit out of heavy attack with that arcane naked (aka nothing) because of how combo counters works (being that it ramps up after you use it, taking around 6 seconds for max counter) so use kullervo, voruna or heavy attack efficiency and wait a few moments if you use in anything (note: i am adding info, its not trash talking the build, more akin to a tip and as a why)

I'm pretty sure mercy kills count as well and impact weapons proc more mercy openings. So in theory, you could just run acceltra or any other weapon that procs mercy kills and get stacks quick.
I actually didn't think it will work with ground finishers. I always thought of things like mercy or stealth finishers. Where only some frames can do that easily. This is good information to have.
you should look into melee influence with the bo incarnon, final evo puts it at a crazy 62% base sc you can do viral elec and just mow down groups with one swing

The big TL;DR question: Why not just use naramon? Why dedicate a melee arcane to an incredibly expensive arcane, as well as a focus school, when you can dedicate only the focus school via. naramon? Even better, since naramon is kinda meh, you can also instead just dedicate a weapon arcane (if you have a weapon that's just utility) or simply a melee mod slot (Drifting Contact - note that many meta melee builds have a flex slot that this goes well with). This means you're entire operator school is no longer locked. And if you want grouping AND combo, you can use the cheaper method of your combo duration of choice + melee vortex + mag primer. Basically, there are significantly cheaper and simultaneously less committed methods for similar/same results.

melee crescredo not effects exodia becus de nerfet it years ago that exo bombs cant provide from heavy attacks. thats what ive tested and can confirm. thats what the helpchat says. so. wtf?
If I’m correct, even when you have initial combo (corrupt charge with perma 2x for example) using your heavy attack still uses that combo and sets it to 0. The initial combo then recharges back up. So the higher the initial combo, the longer period of time for it to charge back to full initial combo. I think it’s like ~5secs at 12x combo or something like that. High Heavy Attack efficiency means you aren’t using that combo all the way back to zero and waiting for a recharge. Instead your 12x heavy attack goes to 10x or 9x. Which means you can do back to back heavies or have a shorter recharge rate back to 12x.
For example if you watch him heavy attack at 4:11, you see his 12x go down to 11x then quickly recharge back to 12x. He has a really high heavy attack efficiency thus less combo lost and quicker full initial combo recharge.

You don't heavy attack with Khora, you don't need this or Vazarin. Just run naramon and bring Panzer to build 7x combo for you in like two hits on 3 clumped enemies with the new bond mods.

@@icastot there's an interaction between Tandem Bond and Panzer viral quills that latch to enemies. If you let it prime a few enemies with quills and then it attacks them, your combo counter will jump a few tiers in seconds. It helps if you also equip Swipe on it so the panzer attacks more than once each time. As for melee exposure, I personally use it now, it's great. It gives me corrosive and I changed my mod corrosive to radiation instead to cover other alloy armoured units.

Eclipse should work like equinox night/day forms. Toggle between them with duration affecting the timer of the respective buffs imo

my finisher key is X and my basic melee key is E so when you use 2nd ability of vazarin spam E you will STACK combo trust me

@@Chilevecbecause using this arcane is more convenient than naramon, that's it bro, I mean, for kullervo, just think about it, his 1 is a heavy attack, even with naramon, if u keep doing heavy attacks even with 90% efficiency, u will get to the point where u have to build up combo to 12x AGAIN !, but with this, u don't have to , it just goes up on it's own, building max combo for like, idk 1 to 5 mins, means that for the rest of the however long u want mission, u don't have to build combo anymore, u actually waste time building combo to 12x again and again and again

Hey Knightmare, thanks for the melee video as always. For the Wisp/Exodia build, did Holster Amp aura stop buffing Exodia? I remember it used to buff it the same as Vigorous Swap, but you've switched to Corrosive Projection?

Why does heavy attack efficiency matter if you have permanent 12x?
If I’m correct, even when you have initial combo (corrupt charge with perma 2x for example) using your heavy attack still uses that combo and sets it to 0. The initial combo then recharges back up. So the higher the initial combo, the longer period of time for it to charge back to full initial combo. I think it’s like ~5secs at 12x combo or something like that. High Heavy Attack efficiency means you aren’t using that combo all the way back to zero and waiting for a recharge. Instead your 12x heavy attack goes to 10x or 9x. Which means you can do back to back heavies or have a shorter recharge rate back to 12x.
For example if you watch him heavy attack at 4:11, you see his 12x go down to 11x then quickly recharge back to 12x. He has a really high heavy attack efficiency thus less combo lost and quicker full initial combo recharge.

You don't heavy attack with Khora, you don't need this or Vazarin. Just run naramon and bring Panzer to build 7x combo for you in like two hits on 3 clumped enemies with the new bond mods.

@@icastot there's an interaction between Tandem Bond and Panzer viral quills that latch to enemies. If you let it prime a few enemies with quills and then it attacks them, your combo counter will jump a few tiers in seconds. It helps if you also equip Swipe on it so the panzer attacks more than once each time.
As for melee exposure, I personally use it now, it's great. It gives me corrosive and I changed my mod corrosive to radiation instead to cover other alloy armoured units.
