Very interesting Steve! It seems like the big brands are all utilizing see thru plastic packaging or an image of a scoop of the ice cream with some applicable pictures or illustrations of inclusions. One aspect of small batch production is the variability of container as a function of cost and space requirements. If printing individual containers, the need for inventory and space to support each flavor print run becomes difficult as a shop increases the flavor varieties. What about stickers? --there is the increased cost of the sticker and the labor to apply each. Great video!
Thank you for your knowledge sharing and time chef! 💯
I thank you for this video I have learned so much from your videos... I'm working on building my food business at the moment I'm working on my ice cream and other desserts i would love to get my products sold in grocery stores
Recently switched to a “brown” biodegradable container that we love. It has “No Tree” printed on container. I was worried about durability so I filled 4 pints, froze them solid in-22 f blast chiller, thawed them out, ate the ice cream, washed them out with soap and water and set them out to dry…. Merely to see what would happen, after they dried they seemed no worse for the wear. Sugar cane product. .10 cents per UNIT US cheaper than what I was paying for similar . Just ordered another 1500 containers. That’s what I’m doin 😎
Please do tell where you order these from ?
@@natejobs7463 I have zero affiliation with the company….
