How Ice Cream is Made

- Ancient Greeks, Romans, and Jews were known to chill wines and juices as a treat during the summer months. This practice evolved into fruit ices and, eventually, frozen milk and cream mixtures. But it wasn’t until the 20th century that ice cream became available to the common man. As the Industrial Revolution brought electric power, steam power, and mechanical refrigeration, the ice cream market grew to astronomical size, with an estimated market size of 81.8 Billion USD in just the United States. So how is it made?

Me: watching it while eating ice-cream.
Frozen custard is pretty good too.
An educative and well detailed video 💯💯
Keep it up 😃🤲🏾
We need more of this😁
More to come!
@@Factora_eng Weird how traditional methods of making ice cream are not included. These how it's made videos never include everything, either. They don't explain anything, they just say this is how we do some things with a lot of chemicals on an industrial scale. This video never shows you how to make ice cream, or how it is actually made. Anyone who's ever made ice cream knows this video does not describe how ice cream is made, it only shows how factories mix up a bunch of chemicals.
@@taylorthetunafish5737damn, at least say it a little nicer😢

Ice cream is delicious and has become accessible and facilitating production and consumption.
And if you see a “ice cream mountain” on the bucket where they scoop the ice cream from you KNOW that it will be a substandard ice cream, with lots of air, stabilizing agents and stuff that should not be in the ice cream in the first place.
Looks good on instagram but is anything but a half way “good” ice cream.

I love ice cream so much 🇿🇦
Now I'm craving ice cream
😅
I thought ice cream factories intentionally added air so that hey can get more sales but when I heard "without air ice cream would be to hard to eat" I have a totally new perspective to ice cream
It's what you call a win-win situation
@@kevinfernandez9999 yeah put more air for a purpose and get more money at the same time

How the F does a video titled How Ice Cream is Made never demonstrate how ice cream is made? "People so stuff" does not explain how ice cream is made. There's no explanation on how natural ice cream is made, it's more like "this is how I think big manufacturers do, so that's how ice cream is made"
This video doesn't explain anything that it claims to explain. It's almost like propaganda.
