    I am sure everyone will like it very much, if you design and install the system, it can be placed on the back of the backpack and has a large-sized solar panel that can output power up to 5A. You should definitely do this.

    Very cool, most cheaper power banks have too little capacity. I just thought screen should be mounted on same side as solar cell though if possible?

    Mr wrench u can use a diode in series to the solar panels since it voltage drop across the diode and it protects the panel

    • @paveljelinek772
      @paveljelinek772 3 роки тому +1

      No need to do that in his case, since there's a switch so if it's open, no current can flow to solar panel when charging via mUsb.. And even if the switch would be close, i think the no current would flow into that panel because the electricity always goes the path with lowest resistance.. Some testing this theory would be nice though.. (multimeter could check any current flow into panel while charging from a wall)

    I like your vid and want to build one too, a few questions, is the added switch button really needed? Doesn't the circuit board have auto over charge protection, so a switch isn't needed to cut off the power to the batteries? And what does that button on the PCB on the opposite side of the LED do? Thank you.

    • @harikuduva
      @harikuduva 4 роки тому +2

      This power bank can be charged via a micro-usb cable or through the solar panels itself. I do not think you can charge through both? This could be the reason of the switch. Again not sure about this part, since charging with both is effectively putting the external source and solar panels in parallel. The button on opposite to the LED powers the LED light. That is why he used the end of a pen ink container to power/power off the switch.

    The return power from battery or the power from the charger during charging the batteries, can damage the solar panel. U should attached a diode to the solar panel for safety.

    Do you think i can connect 2x6V ones in parallel (4.5W) directly to mUsb? I use rectifier (2A li-po charge board that takes anythin from 5-20V and charges the battery directly) but charging on does not show up on powerbank module because that rectifier is connected to battery :( edit: i think using 6V should be fine since on multimeter it shows around 4.8-4.9V on panels when charging.. I mean the voltage always drops to appropriate Voltage on load yes?

    hi, i just wanna say that your video is amazing, and i have a question, you connect the cables directly, to the micro usb port, so you also can use the current DC to charge it ?

      bro actually mobiles charge by dc current only ,the adaptor you use for charging is nothing but ac to dc converter ....if you check the label which is attached to your charger it is written there ....all the devices work in dc current only except few devices ..and most of them have inbuilt ac to dc converter. :)

  • @harikuduva
    @harikuduva 4 роки тому

    What is the purpose of the switch? Why do we need switch specifically for enabling/disabling the solar panels? Is it to prevent charging the power bank from both an external micro-usb and also our solar panels? If so why can we not charge via both at the same time? Can we charge the panels via solar while charging a cell phone?
