1/3Bees wax
1/3coconut oil
In marybath let it cool and add
Pepper mint
Eucalyptus
Lemon
Wood
I did research on the lemon eo and you should use it only on kids two years and older!
I am going to try this for my grandsons. One gets such big whelps from mosquitoes. Thank you

You should start using a kitchen scale to weigh your ingredients if you want to make sure the parts are totally equal. Obviously the different ingredients have different densities but you can probably create a formula and weigh everything to make it more precise.
It doesn't have to be exact and still comes out perfectly.
Apologies for the name, my son hacked me. Can these bug bars be used during the day? I’ve seen other videos where you say don’t apply citrus oils to skin if in direct sunlight? So curious, can I apply these bars before going per se on a boat ride?

Add boiling hot water to it, pour it out, and then wipe out with a cloth.

Thank you! Rub the lotion bar onto the skin where you want to use it. It is best to apply to any exposed skin. When you rub it on the warm skin it will melt slightly, making it easy to apply. Massage into the skin.

Soywax is fine too!
Are the oils okay to use on kids who are going to be outside in direct sunlight?
Citrus oils are photosensitive and should not be worn in direct sunlight.
Can I add citronella essential oil to this?
Yes you can but it wont be kid friendly!
