This is a great idea! It works and it's lovely. Just in case anyone is like me though and has just about no time for DIYing ( 3 under 3 and working full time) I just use a spray bottle of water, roll of paper towels, and a jar of coconut oil at my changing station. Spray the paper towel with water, dip your paper towel in the jar of coconut oil. Bam. It Cleans alllllll kinds of poopy messes...even the blowouts. I should add that the coconut oil jar is big enough for my whole hand to fit because it's from Costco and as we all know everything is jumbo sized from there. That's what I do in case anyone is interested. Not to take away from this idea though because it also works:)
Thanks for sharing!!
I have tried this recipe and absolutely love it!! Thanks for all you do😊
You're welcome! I am so glad you like it!
If you use a sharp non-serrated knife it will cut down on the frays and fluffy bits that the sawing causes. I’ve seen makeup remover wipes made with a similar recipe and they store in a round glass jar with a sealing lid. It fits the paper towels quite snug, but near perfectly.
Thanks for the tips!!
Gracias por esta natural receta🌸
Very nice well done I like baby wipes took much good
Thank you so much 😊
I would make a statement that people should use unbleached paper towels and a natural form of mold control such as colloidal silver, for example
Have you considered also making a video? I'm prematurely speaking as you may have video content with suggestions as well.
Hey which natural toxic free paper towel brand is good as of strong abosrabsn n soft enough for diy baby wipe. I am just in middle of searching for another great paper towel beside bounty.
@@asmaitghebru2212 I personally don't use kitchen paper for those kind of jobs. I prefer to order unbleached cotton wipes that are dry from Amazon. That way I get to add my own liquid and they're suitable as wipes and obviously much stronger than any kitchen paper brand. But if you want I use kitchen paper the only one I could recommend is seventh generation. Check your local health food store four different brands.
@@NoirHammer ohhh wooow amazing ...thank you so much that helpful info I been thinking if they was such things as those plain clean unbleached cotton dry wipes but I didn't think they be such things as those n didn't end up looking it up. Please send me a link of the ones u found so far . 😌😌😌
On the way also please tell me which liquid u use ....to me the adding soap part is not making sense to me n to prevent molding would anti bacterial organic essential oil help?
Hi! Do you have a recipe for diaper rash cream or have any recommendations? My daughter currently has really bad diaper rash and we’ve tried so many things but nothing is working. Thank you! 💕
Does the water have to be distilled or can it just be regular tap water
I just love your recipes !
This works great. Thank you!
that’s a lovely spray bottle
Do y’all think I could do this same thing with avocado oil instead of coconut?
Is it important the water is distilled? Most other recipes in the internet say it is but maybe that just affects how quickly they can grow bacteria?
Would this not leave the baby's skin soapy?
I'm really looking forward to making these for my baby but have that one doubt..
Please reply
I never had that issue. :)
@@ouroilyhouse thank you so much 🙏
do you ever have issues with mold growing in these?
Would you make a video on how you do your ebooks please?
I make them on canva!
Also, does anyone know how long these take to get moldy? Does it help to keep in fridge? Just wondering if it’s a good idea to make more than 1 half at a time. I’ll have a newborn again soon so I’m thinking it definitely will be worth making 2 at a time!
This is a good point you’re making here! Anything that has water in it has to have some kind of preservative because over a period of just a couple of days it can get mold and different kind of bacteria that can be very very harmful. I make my own products at home as far as skin care and hair care and you have to use some kind of natural broad-spectrum preservative.
Hi, how much soap did you really use? You poured more than a teaspoon. Thx!
I thought so too!!! I was like wow..that's a supersized tablespoon:)) for SURE
I also have this question, she saud teaspoon but it definitely looked like more than a tablespoon
Are they flushable? I need a homemade flushable wipes.
Thank you for this idea
Use regular knife it works perfectly bread knife makes more mess..
Thanks!
but if the baby hasnt had nuts introduced in their diet is it safe to use baby oils? because you still absorb some oils through your skin
What to use instead of the coconut Oil?
Thanks
I . make walnut oil at home. Can I use that or Argan oil?
Yes
@@ouroilyhouse thank you!!!
You have all the best tutorials! Love this!
Thank you so much!
Amazing!
teenagers have been using them too
How to you keep the wipes from getting moldy? I made my own once and they got moldy! It's a good sign tho, no preservatives!
That is why its better to use the spray bottle technique. You can't let water sit, mold will grow. - Also paper towels are full of toxins unless you get natural ones.
Use distilled water!
I use medical grade distilled water 😊
I subscribe your channel
I think citrus seems the most safe though
And one thing you are in instagram
or aloe
Are you able to make this without using any essential oils?
Yes
dandelion or daisy
oh yes, if it’s diluted 🕊️
With the cost of paper towels it’s cheaper to just buy wipes 😑
first, I am not a guy, secondly, your wipes are looking so frayed, I would not want to use them.
Does the coconut oil clog the spray bottle?
