So while changing the bag and board on the book, the top staple popped. It was obviously more fragile than I had anticipated. This lead me to not send the book as I didn't want to take a chance on more damage. Thanks for all the comments and likes!
Nice Dustin. I submitted 12 books to CBCS Verified Sig program and did an unboxing a few months back. All 12 came back verified and with yellow labels and the new CBCS cases are fantastic. GL with the submission
I think since I won't be focused on resale value, I'm going to get my first comics graded by CBCS. The no Newton Rings, lower price, and seemingly better capsule have helped sway me. I also think it will be good to support direct competition to CGC so they improve their services as well. So glad I found your guys' channel and you've already helped me a ton.
Went through my old box and found my X-Men #1D (That I bought back in the 90's from a friend who worked at a comic shop) hopefully signed by Jim Lee. It's in insanely good condition as well. It may not be worth much but I still wanna authenticate the signature. Thanks for the video, as the checkout is confusing for someone who has never graded anything before.
I've got a few slated for submission for the Sigs as well- I'm in the Dallas area and have the convenience of dropping off/picking up.. Good Luck with the submissions!
My very first comic purchased was ASM 361 news stand and it was signed by Bagley and Stan Lee so I sent it to CBCS for pressing and verification. I started the process in the middle of the pandemic so the turn around time was super slow. I sent in July 2020 and got it back close to Christmas. It cost me $100 bucks with shipping and it came back verified and a 9.6. The wait was painful, but so worth it. Their shipping was excellent. The slab was packed really well and it got here safe and sound.
I like what you did about verifying the signature from Jack Kirby very excellent thank you for showing us how we can get signatures verify thank you for doing that for us I like how you went to make sure the signature is good and I hope you and your brothers and all your family members are having a wonderful night and day and all the best for all your families and friends thank you for what you doing
Sent in a couple of books for verifying. One green slab & others. Included pressing. Sent back in Oct 2020 & still waiting. Pressing is 12 weeks. Slabbing / grading will take 8 weeks & need to add 1-2 weeks for sig verification. Looking at about 5 months.
I have two signed books-----that I worked for at a comic book shop one summer. X-Men (volume 1, 1963) #2 and #4 in very good conditions signed by Stan Lee AND Jack Kirby. I am thinking having the signatures authenticated would add value to my comics----but not exactly excited about putting them into the hands of FedEx.
Great upload. I have a Spider-Man 1 signed by McFarlane. I’m on the fence of either submitting to CGC for a green label or to CBCS for verified signature. Great information to help my decision.
Hi TwoBrotherComics, so I am thinking of submitting my Nocterra #1 signed by Scott Snyder to CBCS, however, there weren’t any CBCS personal at Midtown Comics to witness the signature. Does this mean the signed comic will not get the “Yellow Label” if I submit it to CBCS, or do they give you the Yellow Label without a witness? Thank you in advance. I just subscribed to your channel, I’m digging the content!
Interesting that you can do signature verification without a witness or otherwise. I have a lot of books signed at comic-cons that werent witnessed but never really thought I could get verified grading on.
@@TheRickHoward Now, I don't know how much it'll cost one of us to engage the experts, but we can at least be thankful it's not some random CBCS employee. I'm sure they're good at what they do, but something like sigs need experts.
Great walkthrough!! I sent a book to cbcs with blank cover that I drew on and signed. I filled out paperwork to be verified. Should be coming back yellow label according to the representative. We will see....!!
Due to their extremely long turnaround times I ended up not sending the book in at that time. Just been waiting for the turnaround times to come down. Hopefully soon!
I have a few books that I would like to have pressed and I don't want to put them in the mail what do you recommend? Do you utilize a local pressing service? I asked if you local comic shops and they don't do it I don't know where to go or what to do
I use local pressers. I have a friend close to me that does it and also my LCS owner does it. Maybe reach out in some Facebook comic groups and ask if their are any in your area or if anyone local can recommend someone close to you.
CBCS is so much better in my opinion. Their new cases are just as sturdy as CGC and actually a lot less bulky, which makes them more optimal for storing. Better turnaround, no fee, grader notes, better website. It's just so much better for me. They also have the census now.

I need to send in my un witnessed signatures in to CBCS, just have to get the books cleaned and pressed first. Thanks for the video.

I have used them to verify signs and it is awesome! I honestly prefer CBCS.

Do you know if I have a PGX slab with signatures if they’ll take the slab and verify it and Reslab?
I have a bunch of signed books that I need to do send to CBCS. The fact I can get signatures verified by them is one of their advantages over CGC

I was wondering if it was possible to reholder a Cgc into a cbcs, any help would be awesome!

I’m in the process now of submitting multiple Silver Age comics to them now. Hopefully everything goes smoothly.
Does cbcs need to witness signature signings in order to get a yellow label?
Nope! They will verify if it's real when you send it in.
Good luck Dustin, fingers crossed it’s a real King sig 🤞

They go through some kind of signature experts. Apparently one of, if not the best out there.
@@FlashByKnight Ahhh. Well, glad it's an available service!

You can hear the clinching of teeth at "almost $100."
So if I don't know the grade of my comics can I just say 1.0 or better on all 100 of them ? It's the star wars series
Great walkthrough!! I sent a book to cbcs with blank cover that I drew on and signed. I filled out paperwork to be verified. Should be coming back yellow label according to the representative. We will see....!!
Awesome! Can't wait to see it!
No, no, no, we will not be doing faster services, lmao. I am glad you did this video, thank you.
Did you ever get the book back? Was searching through your videos. But didn't see a follow up
Due to their extremely long turnaround times I ended up not sending the book in at that time. Just been waiting for the turnaround times to come down. Hopefully soon!
Are you still waiting on this one to return back to you? Curious to know what grade you got after pressing and cleaning and CBCS Verified Grading.
Hopefully you get the results you want. Fingers crossed

Do you have to be a member to submit? I wanna do a submission but want to see if I like them?
Useful video, thanks for sharing!
I've never done grading so this helps a lot thank you fam
Good luck can't wait to see that bad boy come back
Yes!!! I've been waiting for this and it's here!!!!
I have some Signed Star Wars books I want to get encapsulated and verified. I’ve been thinking about cbcs for a while
What's the 'add authentic' next to the 'add verified' option for?
I believe for signatures
Awesome video. So as of today you havent recieved yet?
Cowabunga bros 🤙 5k here we come 👊
Does signature verification produce a yellow label?
Yes!
9.2 baby
So CBCS charges $50 per signed comic?
I don’t think they verify his signature??
